So yesterday and the day before I was really really busy so that's why I haven't updated. Oh Godric, I just realised I had left you on a cliffhanger too! I'm ever so sorry! Well, today is my muggle friend's birthday party, so we are going to this trampoline park called Air Hop with Nymphadora. So I will be posting after that. Just wanted to get this message out, but I WILL post today, maybe even a couple chapters to make up for it.
~Hermione Granger <3
==================================================
"You... WHAT?!" Ginny shouted out loud. I tried to shush her so not to catch the boys' attention, but Ron and Harry had turned around in their seats."Bloody hell Ginny, no need to shout so loud!" Ron scolded. "What's happened?"
Ginny opened her mouth to speak but I put my hand over it before she could say anything, muffling her words. I gave a nervous laugh. "Heh. Umm... hey, it's getting late. We should really go to bed."
"Hermione it's not that late. It's only eight." Harry pointed to the clock.
Still holding Ginny's mouth, I gave out another nervous laugh. "Well, uh, Ginny and I need to go and do something in our dorm. We will be back soon!" Ginny made a confused moan as I drove her up the stairs. I looked back at the guys, who were throwing suspicious looks at me.
I opened the door and let Ginny go from my grasp, not forgetting to shut the door so the guys wouldn't overhear our conversation.
"What do you mean, you think you're falling for Malfoy?! Did you hit your head or something? Do I need to take you to Madame Pomfrey?" She didn't shout as loud this time, but her voiced was still raised.
"No. I don't need to go to the hospital wing Ginny. I didn't hit my head on anything. I honestly have no idea about my feelings at the moment. But," I gave out a big sigh. "I just can't stop thinking about him Ginny. It's not like an obsession, but my feelings for him are starting to grow."
Ginny sighed. "Can I tell - "
"Nope! Ginevra Weasley, you are not to tell a soul until you have my consent!"
Ginny rolled her eyes when I called her by her proper name. I knew she hated being called 'Ginevra'. I only used it when I was being ever so serious with her.
"I guess you're right. Harry and Ron would probably flip out, considering how much rivalry they have with Malfoy. And... even though I don't like him very much... you are my best friend, Mione, therefore you have my full support."
I let a small smile slip from my lips. "Thanks Ginny. I need to clear my mind. This time, I actually am going to the library for a bit and I won't go looking for Draco. I promise."
I left Ginny and rushed down the stairs, grabbing my books and ignoring looks from Harry and Ron on the way.
*Time Skip*
I opened my first book for 'A Guide to Potion Making: Volume Six' and started reading, my brain sucking in all of the information it could (it wasn't that much to be honest; my mind was full of the events of what was only our first day).
"I thought I would find you here." Warm breath was tickling my ear. It made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. The voice was cold and angry.
"What are you doing here?" I asked the voice. I turned to see Draco's friend, Blaise Zabini, staring straight into my soul. His eyes were full of annoyance and his arms were folded.
"What have you done to Draco? What potion did you use on him?" He was starting to confuse me.
"I believe you are mistaken Zabini," he raised an eyebrow "for I haven't used any potion on your friend nor have I done anything to him in the slightest. I have no idea what you are jabbering on about."
