Dear Diary,

It's been three days since the tiny figurines escaped under the floorboards. I haven't heard of them since and I hope that, wherever they are, they're ok and haven't been smashed to pieces by a van or something.

A word of advice to anyone who reads this diary entry. If you see ten little figurines wondering around anywhere, please return them immediately to the address at the back of the journal. I am worried about them.

I keep thinking about what Shaggy said. He told me he 'wanted to find the world beyond the stars.' I told him there was no world beyond the stars. Now, however, I have come to some realisation.

For them, those tiny figurines, their world would have been normal-size—like how my world is to me—but those figurines are like us. They have minds. They have curiosity. They have imagination. They kept wondering if there was anything out there.

So, that left me thinking. Maybe for us we are in the same situation. Maybe there is another world 'out there' for us to discover. Maybe we all live in one big box like they did. Maybe we have to be like them and try to open our minds a bit more.

Having said all this, I decided to write the book of the Box Paradox. Because, you never if you are truly living a box or not.

Goodbye diary,

Micaela.

Please check out my other books and things! I have a short story horror coming out that was based on a friend's dream (I know, weird right?)

Anyway, see you around my lovely readers!
