Colton

After one of the most amazing nights in my life, I woke up only to have Avery already awake with her finger trailing on the side of my face. I could feel her gaze on me as I said "Take a picture, it will last longer" Which was one of the most famous lines in history. I heard her chuckle and when I opened my eyes I saw an angel in front of me. "Good morning princess" I said.

She was laying on her side facing me, with the blanket barely covering her naked chest. "Good morning" she said back blushing. Just knowing she was naked under those sheets had me wanting to rip them off of her. Her hair was frayed around her face and on the pillow, with her lips and cheeks a rosy color as well.

She was the epitome of beauty. And I could just lay there and look at her for ages. I surprised her by flipping and laying on top of her, with my weight on my arms off course. I gave her a soft kiss and brushed my mouth by her ear. "How about, round two" I said, biting her ear lobe.  "Nu- uh uh, round two is going to have to wait" she said giggling. "I disagree on that" I said kissing her, but her phone had ring and cut us off. I groaned and got off her grabbing her phone from the bedside table and giving it to her.

"Hello" she said out of breathe. I groaned lowly again just looking at how she was worked up about what happened and started kissing her arms now. "Hey mom" she said smacking my shoulder, I let go of her and started chuckling. "Yeah I'm sorry, it was kind of last minute" she said, and I knew it was about her sleeping over.

I got up and went to the closet grabbing a towel, I'm gonna need a cold shower after that. "Mom, no" she said blushing. I didn't know what exactly they were talking about but I still shouted "yes!" In a loud voice. "Colton" she scolded from my bed. I laughed and went into the bathroom to start my shower.

I was in he midst of taking a shower when the curtain flew open. On instinct I grabbed my manhood and covered it with my hands. "Oh my god!" Avery said laughing clutching her stomach. "That's wasn't funny" I said. "that was very funn-"

I cut her off by smearing the blob of shampoo I had in my hands on her nose. There was no point of me taking a cold shower when she was still naked standing right in front of me. "I hope you don't mind me getting in the shower with you" she said getting in and rinsing her face under the water from the soap. "Not at all" I said smirking while tickling her sides, she squeaked turning around and throwing shampoo bubbles at me.

"Let's go get some ice cream" Avery said as we lay on my bed cuddling, having just finished our shower. "Yeah" I said pecking her forehead.

While we were walking to the ice cream shop I noticed how long it's been since we've seen melody and gotten ice cream.

We reached her shop and entered. The smell of sweet goodness was filling my nose and looking over at Avery I could tell she was enjoying the smell too. Maybe even more than me.

We ordered our traditional ice cream flavors and as usual I didn't let Avery pay no matter how much she begged me. Instead of sitting in front of Avery as always I sat next to her, and she smiled at me noticing the change. "You got a little something on your lip" I told her gesturing to the side of her lip where there was a little chocolate chip. "Here?" She asked wiping with the tissue. I shook my head gesturing again even though it was gone. "Here?" She asked. "Let me just get it for you" I said Leaning in and kissing her. She smiled in our kiss and it was one of the best feelings.

"Oh my gosh!!" We heard a shout. We both turned around to see Melody practically running to us. "What was that?!" She asked. "Nothing" Avery said teasingly looking at me with the look that was like 'nothing happened here' "No, it was definitely something alright." She said. "You too were kissing!" She said giddily jumping.

And that's when she demanded we spill everything to her, and thats what we did for the next thirty minutes.

"I knew you guys would end up together" she said in the end sighing looking like a proud mom. "How did you know?" I asked curious.

"The look you two had for each other was undeniable, and besides Avery used to talk to me about you when you'd leave for the bathroom or go somewhere" she said mischievously, wiggling her brows at Avery.

Avery gasped, a rosy tint coming on to her cheeks. "You would ask questions!" She said hoping to defend her point as Melody laughed.
Her happiness was something I strived to have in my life and when I grow older. It gives her a comforting aura to her personality as well.

"Did you get qualified to any of the same universities yet?" Melody asked. That just brought our moods down and it was pretty obvious. "No but we'll have to check on that soon" I said glancing over at Avery to see her head down playing with her hands. "Well when you do come see me right away. I got to go back to work now. I'll see you soon sweeties." She said going back to the kitchen with her tray in hand. "Bye" Avery and I said as we too got up ready to leave.

The silence between us as we were walking home was deafening, so halfway on our walk home I decided to say something. "You know, it will be ok if we don't get accepted into the same university." I said.

She was quiet for a few seconds before she said "No it won't" she said in a voice so low I almost couldn't hear her. "What?" I asked. "It won't be ok Colton, so don't say it will" she said. "Hey hey now, what happened to that positive attitude?" I asked stopping in the middle of the empty side walk and cupping her face in my hands. "It took so long for us to be together, for me to be with you. I don't want to lose you" she said her eyes tearing up. "You won't ever lose me Avery, because I'll be with you forever." I said pecking her trembling lips softly.

No matter what happens, nothing will separate us because if something did I'd regret it for the rest of my life as the biggest mistake.
