Dante's POV:
VYLAD SKIPPED A GRADE?
I stared in shock at the boy. "Yup. I skipped eighth grade!" Vylad chirped.
"Boys! It's time for dinner! I made cake for desert!" a feminine voice called.
"CAKE!!!!" Vylad yelled and hopped over the back of the couch.
Zane rolled his eyes. "He is such a child sometimes," he grumbled. Louder he said, "I should go before my idiot brothers eat all the food."
Travis grabbed the phone out of my hand, grinning like an idiot. "Bye, Zane!"
"Bye, Travis."
Zane ended the call, and Travis threw his phone on his bed. He was still smiling goofily. "Ooooo, someone's got a crush!" I teased, then quickly slapped my hand over my mouth.
I forgot that Cody was here!
Both of us looked over at Cody. "You like guys?" Cody asked.
"Yeah..." Travis said nervously.
There was a pause, then Cody jumped up. "I KNEW IT!" he yelled. Both Travis and I jumped.
"You knew? How?" Travis asked.
"Don't expect me to tell all my secrets!"
*Le Time Skip*
At about midnight, I was lying awake in my bed when my phone buzzed. I picked it up and saw that I hadn't logged out of EyeText.
CHAT
Turtle joined the chat.
Turtle: hey, anyone there?
Katana: hey!
Turtle: hi Dante. why r u up so late?
Katana: I could ask u the same question
Turtle: touché
Katana: ooooooo, an accent over the e. getting fancy, are we?
Turtle: oh, be quiet
I looked over at my clock and my eyes widened. Two o' clock in the morning? How did it get so late?
Katana: hey, Vylad?
Turtle: yeah?
Katana: we should probably go to sleep
Turtle: yeah...
Turtle: u know, I'm usually up really late at night
Turtle: but never this late
Katana: really? I can never get to sleep either
Turtle: it gets really boring
Katana: yeah
Katana: do u want to be night chat buddies?
Turtle: sure!
Katana: I'll message you tomorrow
Turtle: ok!
I logged off and layed back with one arm behind my head and the other holding my phone and resting on my stomach. I started to drift off, and the last thing I remember is thinking, Vylad has gorgeous eyes.
