"Charlotte what am I supposed to wear? He's going to think I look ugly, just kill me now!" Fourteen-year-old Michael shouts at his twin sister from across the hall before flopping dramatically on his bed and groaning into the pillow. The blonde haired girl bursts into his bedroom, going to his closet immediately.

"Shut up Mike, you know Luke will love whatever you wear, you look good in everything!" She rolls her blue eyes at her stressed out brother before throwing a pile of clothing at his head. "Wear this and stop complaining, you have a hot date in half an hour. Get up and get ready!" Charlotte slams the door on her way out, yelling all the way down the hall about how Michael better get out of his bed.

The blonde haired teenager rolls of his bed and lands on the floor with a thump, he doesn't know how Charlotte did it, but she managed to pick out the perfect outfit for him. He slips on the light pink dress shirt and black skinny jeans, yanking white socks onto his feet and tying his black Doc Marten boots as fast as possible. He looks at himself in the mirror for at least ten minutes before hearing the doorbell ring from downstairs.

Luke Hemmings is waiting at his door, a small bouquet of yellow roses in his hands, Michael's favorite. He is wearing a white long sleeve shirt and black skinny jeans, much like Mike's. His favorite denim jacket is covering his shoulders. "Hey Mikey, you look beautiful, as always." He says with a smile, leaning in and hugging the small fourteen year old.

After putting the flowers in a vase and saying goodbye to his sisters, Michael and Luke make their way down the street hand in hand. They are both too young to drive, but neither of them mind walking towards their destination. The boys make their way into a small restaurant about a mile from Michaels house. Luke pulls out Michael's chair for him like the gentlemen he is, and Michael blushes like the lovesick fool he is.

They sit in the small Italian restaurant for what seems like hours, talking about everything from music to children. Luke grabs Michael's hand as they make their way home. The sun is setting early due to it being winter, but the air is still warm as ever in Australia. They silently walk up the pavement of Mike's driveway and onto his porch before stopping. Michael smiles, "Thank you Luke, I had a really nice time."

Luke smiles at the younger boy and accepts his thanks before pressing a quick kiss to his lips, "I'll see you later, have a good night princess." With that Luke is gone, already walking down the sidewalk back towards his home and Michael is left on his porch, a stupid smile on his lips and memories of his perfect first date with Luke flooding his mind.
