Luke pulls Michael into his house, smiling at the small red nosed boy.

"Merry Christmas baby." He says, pulling his lovely boyfriend in for a hug.  The Hemmings household smells like gingerbread and Michael immediately goes looking for the cookies, Luke laughs behind him.  Mrs. Hemmings is standing in front of the oven, a red apron around her waist and a tray of gingerbread men in her hands.

"I knew I smelled cookies!" Michael exclaims reaching for one, "Thank you Katelyn!"  Luke's mom smiles fondly at her son's boyfriend before shouting up the stairs for the rest of the family to come down.  "Derrick, kids, come down Michael is here, time for presents!"  Before they know it four people are flying down the stairs and into the living, almost knocking Michael over on the way.

Luke's mom and dad sit on the couch while the kids sit on the ground around the tree, Michael in Luke's lap.  On their right is his ten-year-old sister, Paige.  Her long brown hair is up in a ponytail and she is holding a pair of shoes in her hands, yelling thank you at her parents.  To their left is Luke's eight-year-old sister Samantha and his little brother Nathan who is half Sammy's age.  Sam's blonde hair is braided in to pigtails down her back and she has Nate on her lap, both of them are giggling over nothing in particular.

After ages of the smaller siblings and Luke opening their gifts from their parents (Michael even got a few from the couple as well), the two boys head up to Luke's bedroom.  Once inside Luke immediately presses his lips to his small boyfriend's.  Michael smiles into the kiss, "Merry Christmas to you too."  The, now, blue haired boy pulls a box out of his bag and hands it to Luke, a shy smile on his lips.  "I didn't know what to get you so I hope you enjoy this."

Luke pulls of layers of wrapping paper to reveal four small individually wrapped presents.  The first three are the new All Time Low album, a framed photo of the couple and a Smiley gift card, the local music shop.  Luke carefully opens the last one, and finds a black journal under the wrapping paper.  He flips through the pages, realizing that it's Michael's lyric book.

"Holy shit, Mike, your lyric book? This is so so sweet, thank you so much!"  Michael hugs his boyfriend tightly.  He knows how much Luke loves to read what Michael writes and his lyric book is where he writes everything.  He thought it would be the perfect gift, and seeing the huge smile on Luke's face reassures him that it was.

...

Later that night, Michael lies under his sheets wrapped in his new sweater that Luke bought him.  He pulls the pink sleeves over his fingers as he types up a report that's due after holiday.  His phone is constantly buzzing with texts from Luke, telling him how much he loves the lyrics and sending him his personal favorite.  Mike snuggles closer into his sheets and takes in the scent of Luke in his bed from all the many times he's slept over.  Everything is perfect.
