" Katsu-kun, it hurts."
" Don't worry, I'm here for you."
" It really hurts...make it stop Katsu-kun."
" Please make it stop."
" Agata-san." Gato said to me as we arrived in the kitchen.
I hummed in reply as my blank eyes stared at his.
" I need to talk to you, regarding Tenshi." He said.
" Hmm? Why is that?"
" Last night..." He started as he clenched his hands. " She felt it."
" Felt what?"
" The pain again."
My eyes widened at his statement.
" Whatever is happening to those people she was once connected to, it has to be stopped."
" Why?"
" Why? Are you an imbecile?" Gato exclaimed as he rubbed the bridge of his nose.
I shrugged my shoulders, signaling him to continue. Gato looked at me for a while before his hazel brown eyes turned sorrowful.
"Cause I can't take it anymore. Seeing her in pain is just unbearable." Gato explained and closed his eyes. " You don't understand."
" I do understand." I blurted out.
Gato opened his eyes in shock and looked at me.
" I do know how much it feels to see the person I love suffer. Her shattering screams makes me wanna scream as well. Her heartbreaking sobs makes me wanna cry too." I explained as I clenched the place where my heart is. "And it hurts."
" Sure, I may not feel pain anymore. But those times where I couldn't do anything but stare at her as she screamed, cried, yelled, and begged..." I then looked down. "...they were painful."
A hand was then placed on my shoulder. Looking up to see who that hand belonged to, I saw Gato's warm smile.
" You know your stuff, Agata-san." Gato said.
" Thank you." I replied.
" One last question before you go back." Gato requested as he released his hand from my shoulder.
I nodded my head silently, listening to the question I am about to be asked.
" Do you, Katsuhira Agata, like Tenshi Kuroshiro?"
