Seeing Tayla was quite the surprise.
Not as much of a surprise as catching her kissing a bright red Ayato. I don't think even a tomato could beat the colour he was showing at the time.
Her new piercings were pretty cool too, and they suited her which was good.
"Why are you guys here anyway?" I asked.
"Tayla needs a new mask. She threw hers off a bridge soooooo. " Ayato replied while Tayla grimaced.
"I didn't mean to. Though it honestly wasn't a great mask anyway."
"Oh! Uta can I design her mask!?" I looked up at him putting on my best smile.
Without waiting for an answer I began to plan out her mask. She had always liked wolves and tried to think of strong especially when she was vulnerable.
"Okay so I know that you have a thing for wolves and I already now exactly what I'm gonna start working on." I instantly start taking measurements and I heard Uta sigh and sit down.
By the end of the day I had all my measurements down.
All throughout the night I worked on the design. It took me days to finish it off but I finally had it done after a week.
When Tayla and Ayato showed up they seemed... Unusually close but it didn't affect how excited I was.
"Tayla are you ready to see your mask!?" I asked and we both jumped up and down.
"Hell yeah!" She replied, excited.
I lead them to a room where I had been working on the mask for so long and grinned at Tayla before opening the door.

The mask was sitting on a table on top of a red velvet piece of fabric and once Tayla saw it her only response was to scream.

For the next hour Tayla messed around with her mask.
"Hey Tayla do you remember spider Juuzou?" I asked and I saw Uta and Ayato look up, curious as ever.
"Aaaah yes that little cutie!" She replied.
"Remember when we gave him Nutella?"
"That was pretty good. I warned you about that. I really tried." She said, shaking her head.
We talked about him for almost the rest of the night and then Tayla looked at Uta.
"Hey Uta? Thank you for the piercings." She smile and then pounced. She jumped at him and wrapped her arms around his neck.
He looked kinda scared to be honest.
I looked over at Ayato then and I saw the look in his eyes.
"Hey Ayato!" I yelled and grinned when he looked over at me. "Thanks for taking care of Tayla, shes a dipshit."
And then I reached over and patted his head.
...oh...
...wow...
...his hair is soooooo soft...
I screamed a little before moving closer and started to run my hands through his hair. "HOW IS IT SO SOFT HOW DO YOU DO IT CAN YOU TEACH ME?"
The look on his face told me he was both sad and angry.
His eyes flicked back over to Tayla and i saw his shields come back up.
