"Want some help?" Muffy asks me as she hurried over to me. I was carrying a couple bags full of seeds that I planning to plant in the coming days.
"Sure, thanks." I hand her the lightest of the two. I don't like people helping me really, I just feel bad about it, even if they are the ones offering it.
"You don't look too thrilled today. Why is that?" She asks. I mean she wasn't wrong, I wasn't trying very hard to hide the fact that I was annoyed.
"Well, about that....." I paused as I bit my lip. "I had to deal with a guy who won't leave me alone and keeps taking my stuff."
"That thief? I thought you were going to try and avoid him?"
"I can't just ignore the fact that he's taking things I need and I bought them with my hard earned money! I'm going to get the use out of them!"
"That maybe the case but I don't want you getting hurt over something small like seeds. A sly one that thief is, just be careful."
"Okay, okay. I've decided I'm no longer going to have any contact with him. I don't care what he takes I'm going to ignore it.... Anyways, we're here I'll take the bag back." She hands me the bag back and I walk to my storehouse and place the seeds onto the shelves.
Two Days Later....
Knock Knock
I wake up to the sound of someone knocking on my door. I quickly jump up and run to it. Opening it I see that nobody is there. That's strange, how could someone get away that fast? I take a few steps out of the house and look around. I don't see anyone, so who knocked on my door? I turn around and notice a box was placed beside my mailbox. I furrow my brow as I went to pick it up. Who would send me something? I didn't order anything and most people around here just give you a gift directly. I open the box and see that there's a bouquet of tulips inside. They're pretty but why are they here? I guess I should bring them inside and put them in some water. I shrug and take the flowers into my house.
