I couldn't sleep well at all, I kept tossing and turning. Why? It's because of what Skye said to me. I just can't stop thinking about it. Interested. Why do I care anyways? I don't like him....No, I can't like him, he stole from me and is always meddling in my business. It drives me mad I would almost say! I do not like him.

I repeat it in my head as much as I can, I don't like him. I don't like him. I don't like him.....

"Hey Claire!" I heard a shout from my left. I turn to see Muffy. I almost forgot I was in the bar talking to her. I guess my mind is too occupied by that thief.

"Sorry, I wasn't paying attention.." I told her. I honestly do feel bad about that.

"I'd say so, you were completely dazed. I hope it wasn't that thief that was on your mind. If it was I have some good news." She said while cleaning a glass then placing it back onto the counter.

"What news?" I asked. This piqued my interest. What did Skye do this time? Then again she did say good news?

"I heard that the Phantom has been laying low recently. I wonder why? Did he perhaps run into certain farmer again?" She winked.

"Oh, so you know." I said more relaxed. That's one less thing I have to keep to myself.

"Why wouldn't I, the answers on your face." She laughed. "Then again I saw you got back some of your Gramps' stuff."

"Am I really that obvious?" I asked as I leaned on the counter.

"To me you are, but that's just because I know you. I doubt anyone can read you like me."

"True," I take a minute to think about the exchange Skye and I had at the beach again. As much as I want to remember the entirety, my mind just focuses on his confession of interest.

"There's that look again, something happened didn't it?" Muffy raised her eyebrows and did the classic, 'tell me' look. I sigh and anxiously get ready to explain the situation.

"He left me a letter, I went to the spot and he gave me my things back... and," I pause and a shutter of confusion runs through me. "He told me... that he's interested in me." I said. "If he thinks that I'm gonna let him just sweep me away then he's an idiot. I don't want anything to do with him."

"So the thief has his eyes set on your heart, better keep it close or he'll steal that too."

She's right. He's not looking to steal my things, my money or my home. He's after my heart, my love.
