2 Months Earlier
(Before Thalia Goes to Goode)

~Thalia~

All I saw was inky blackness, a never-ending void, that I couldn't touch. I heard a high pitched scream behind me, along with a menacing growl. I turned around, expecting to see some menacing creature, but only saw the face of my best friend. Annabeth Chase. The blonde who fell into Tartarus and survived, with her Kelp Head of a boyfriend, Percy Jackson. Her face was grief stricken, and she looked horrible. She had bags under her eyes, with her elegant blonde curls so dirty they looked brown, and pulled into a messed up ponytail. Her clothes were ripped and baggy, like she lost weight. Annabeth looked straight into my eyes with her grey ones and said, "It's all your fault, Thalia. All...your...fault..."

"Annabeth!" The dream ended right then and there. I woke up in a cold sweat, my eyes wide and black hair disheveled. Rubbing my eyes, I looked at the clock on the bedside table beside my bunk. 1:21 AM. Ugh. Too early. But for some reason, I couldn't get the face of Annabeth out of my head. As much as I tried, I couldn't fall back asleep. I eventually dozed off at about 3 AM.

I woke up to someone walking around, taking in the decorated wooden cabin around me. My eyes flicked to the bathroom, where my brother Jason, he didn't return to Camp Jupiter, walked out in a orange camp shirt, jeans and sneakers.

"Morning, sleepy head!", he said.

"What time is it?", I asked, trying to clear the sleepiness form my head.

"11 AM."

"What?! Eleven am! I have to meet Chiron, and the Hunters, and train! Why didn't you wake me up earlier?", I shouted at him.

"Because you need sleep! You keep waking up in the middle of the night, screaming, and not going back to sleep until an hour till you have to wake up! You need your sleep! I swear, you look like your about to pass out!"

"Well maybe that's because I'm working to hard and I have no time to myself! Plus I'm pretty sure Annabeth or someone's in danger because of the stupid dream I keep having! Maybe its me! I don't know! I have NO time to myself! Everyone's always asking me to do something with them! Why can't anyone just leave me alone!" I grabbed my clothes(a black t-shirt, jeans, and my combat boots) and ran into the bathroom, quickly changing and putting my waist length black hair into a ponytail. Running out, I grabbed my bow and silver hunter jacket, giving Jason one last glance.

I ran through camp, ignoring everyone that got in my way. I was finally going to do what I needed. Get some time to myself.

~Jason~

I can't believe she feels that way. I had no idea.

*Flashback over*

She just ran out. Without any warning, just BOOM. Gone. I sprinted out the door, trying to see if I could catch her. But to no avail. Looking around, I just got one last glimpse of her long black ponytail, disappearing into the darkness of the woods. I would've gone after her, but considering her outburst, I thought it would be safer to just let her go and come back on her own. Sighing, I closed the door to my cabin, and waked over to where Chiron was talking with Mr. D.
