Chapter Three: The Journey Starts ( Slowly. )

A Dark gray dragon jumped out of the bush,Horizon suddenly turned and quietly walked away,"Who are yo- Nightbreak! What happened!?" Darkocean yelped

Nightbreak had bruises and cuts,"B-battle training... I have a new teacher..."he gasped,"She told me to take break.."

Darkocean growled,"Come here.." She told Nightbreak. He stumbled over, she touched his wounds with her wings. They were suddenly all the way healed.

Nightbreak blinked,"I forgot about your powers..."

Darkocean backed away sighing,"you can come put now... " she whispered softly. The bush to the right rustled, then it stopped moving.

Just then a little creature materialized in front of her,Nightbreak blinked, "W-who-.... is...that.. A.....Kolgon?" He sputtered.

Horizon squeaked, "Oh No! My invisibility went gone!" Darkocean chuckled at Horizon's try at speaking Darkocean's language.

Nightbreak gasped, then smiled,"Wait...is that?"

Darkocean smiled, "Yes!"

Nightbreak ran up to Horizon and hugged her tightly, "Master Nighty!" Horizon chirped happily.

Horizon had ran away when Shade had threatened to kill her and take her in as a slave. Gloomshade was outraged with Shade, Shade had been locked up for a couple hours.

Gloomshade and Nightbreak,  Adored Kolgons!

"I thought..." Nightbreak cried,"I thought Shade g-got you..."

Horizon chirped with a laugh, "Nope! Shade is rarely using his head!"

Nightbreak blinked,

"Shade forgot I has Invisibility!" She said,turning invisible then back to normal.

Nightbreak chuckled,"Stupid old dragon... " he whispered softly.

Darkocean sighed,"Nightbreak? " she asked,"remember when Gloomshade told us about...the emerald?" Nightbreak nodded as Horizon waddled into the forest,searching for a mango.

"Do you and Horizon want to go...on the adventure with me? I don't want to be alone..."

Nightbreak smiled,there was a tint of redish violet under his eyes.

"Yes! Horizon will go wherever I go so she is gonna follow." He chuckled, Darkocean hugged him. The red under his eyes went even more of a red.

Horizon came back with six mangos. "Two for each of us!" She chirped. "Did I get of right?" She asked setting the Mangos down.

Darkocean chuckled, "Yes,you did.." She sighed.

Darkocean, Horizon, and Nightbreak each grabbed two mangos and started to eat.

"Sooooooo... Where should we start?"Nightbreak asked, Horizon tilted her head in confusion, "Start what?" She asked. Nightbreak smiled at the young Kolgon.

"We are gonna start an adventure!" He chuckled, Horizon gasped,"YAY! ADVENTURE! ADVENTURE!" She squeaked loudly and excitedly.

"Well, Gloomshade said the Emerald might be in the Lightingwings Kingdom." Darkocean told him. Taking a bite from the mango.

Nightbreak sighed,"That's far.." He whined.

Darkocean rolled her eyes,"Well, you said you'd come on the adventure with m-"

"I know,I know, and I will come. Don't worry, I'm not as lazy as you think." Nightbreak told her.

Horizon had already finished her mangos and was starting to sleep.

"Well,its getting late and we should go..tomorrow." Darkocean yawned laying down and closing her eyes.

She felt Nightbreak rest his head on her back,"Goodnight.." Nightbreak whispered, Darkocean smiled.

Then whispered"Goodnight, Nightbreak."
