Chapter 16

Unknown's P.O.V.

I look at Luke as he is standing at the beach with Annabeth. Oh how much Annabeth has grown up. I regret leaving them when I did. Luke still had a lot to learn from me, yet I left them too soon.

"I'm sorry Luke. This is my fault. Maybe if I had stayed, you would have turned to Kronos." I say

"Huh, did you hear that?" Luke asks as I quickly duck behind a rock

"It sounded kinda like Jenesis." Annabeth says

"I agree." Luke says

"Do you think she still watches over us?" Annabeth asks

Of course I do. I think

I keep my back against the rock and listen as they continue to talk to each other. I stay looking away when I hear soft footsteps come towards me. I freeze before they see me fidgeting.

"Who's behind the rock?" I hear a voice say

How did they find me? I think to myself

"Promise you won't kill me." I say, hand on my gun

"I won't kill you." They say

I slowly stand up. My one hand over my gun, the other over that watch that hides my scar on the side of my wrist. I see Luke and Annabeth looking at me in shock. As I come up, I'm met with a sword to the threat.

"Now who are you and why are you spying on us?" He asks

"Jason don't do anything!" Luke yells

"Do you know who this is?" He asks

"We both do." Annabeth says

"Luke. Annabeth. Nice to see you guys again. And Jason, my name is Jenesis, daughter of Chaos." I say, moving some my loose hair out of my face

Annabeth and Luke come up to me and just study me.

"Show me the scar." Luke says

I nod and roll my sleeve up, unlatching my watch and turn my wrist to show Luke and Annabeth the scar. Luke just smiles as he walks over and traces it then pulls me into a hug.

"Where did you run off to?" Annabeth asks as she holds me at arms length

"Well, it's really hard to explain where I went. I just couldn't stay at camp." I say

"So you weren't here for the battle?" Annabeth says

"Yes I was. I was with the Hunters though. You remember that don't you Thalia." I say before she can come into sight

"Clear as yesterday." She says

"So you heard about me hosting Kronos." Luke says

"Yes I did. I really wish you didn't." I say

"I'm sorry Jenesis. I didn't have you for advice. And I thought you were dead." He says
