Thalia's P.O.V.
"Luke, I don't know if we should trust her." I say
"What? Why?" He asks
"I just have a bad feeling." I say
"She's trustworthy. Thalia, she gives off that vibe because of who her dad is." He says
I shake my head and watch as Jenesis and Annabeth catch up.
"I don't know Luke. I just feel like she isn't telling the whole truth." I say
"She might not. She was always hiding thing back when me and Annabeth knew her. But she kept them hidden for a reason." He says
I bite my bottom lip and nod. Jenesis comes into the kitchen and looks at me. I cross my arms and look back at her.
"Hey, Thalia is it, can I talk to you for a minute?" She asks
She walks onto the fire escape and I follow shortly behind her. She looks at me and sighs.
"I know you don't trust me. And to be honest, I don't blame you. I just up and left Luke and Annabeth." She says "But I promise, I'm not working with my father."
"Then why is he looking for you?" I ask
"Cause he wants me to become who I am supposed to be." She says
"The princess of the universe?" I ask
"Yeah. But all I want is to be a free spirit who can adventure the world and fall for whoever I want." She says
I nod and look towards Luke and Annabeth.
"All I want for them is for them to be happy. And if you being here makes that happen, then I can learn to get to know you." I say
"Thank you Thalia. I still regret leaving them, but you should better than anybody to know that I did it for their protection." She says
