Another Life (Thaluke)

Chapter 1

Thalia P.O.V.

Here I am with Annabeth and Kelp Brain. And of course Percy has to be a show off and control the water. I am surprised nobody has noticed that yet. Yeah we are on winter break from school. I talked Artemis into letting me and the rest of the hunters to let us go to the same school as Percy and Annabeth and letting me hang out with Percy.

"Hey Pinecone Face think fast!" Percy yelled as he shot water at me but it never hit me huh that is weird

I get up and dust the sand off of my jeans and looks around. But I see no one who could of saved me that quick. I walk back over to Annabeth and see that her face is dumbstruck. Then Percy comes over with the same face.

"What?" I ask them

"Was that just who I think it was?" Percy asked me

"I don't know. I don't even know who it was." I say

"It looked like Luke. But that can't be. Because he died." Annabeth says

I look confused then look at my watch and I start gathering my stuff.

"Guys we should get back to Percy's." I say

"Ok." They say

They gather their stuff then we walk over to Percy's stepdad's Paul's car. It still has the four hoof prints of Percy's friend Blackjack. We climb in with Annabeth driving. She starts driving towards Percy's place. We get there and we all get out and walk up and walk in.

"Hey mom we are home." Percy yelled

"Ok. Guys go get ready for dinner. We are going out." Sally says "So look nice. That means all of you guys. We are leaving in about 30 minutes."

"Ok. Thanks Mrs. Jackson." Annabeth says

We run up the stairs. Me and Annabeth hurry to our room and Percy to his right across the hall. We hear Percy run to the bathroom and start the shower.

"Here Thals. Here is the silver dress Mrs. Jackson bought you for this occasion." Annabeth says as she hands me a dress Percy's mom bought for me

"You know Seaweed Brain is going to look dumb founded when he sees us both in a dress." I say as I take it and hold it

"I know." Annabeth says as she pulls out her red dress

"Wow Annie." I say

"What?" She asks

"The dress." I say

"Oh." She says as she smiles and looks at it

Percy gets out of the shower and Annabeth makes sure he is out of the hall before she runs to the bathroom with me following her.

"Hey Thals?" Annabeth asks

"Yeah?" I ask

"Can you heat up the curling iron. You know how long that thing takes." She says

"Yeah." I say as I do it

"Thanks." She says

About 10 minutes pass before Annabeth is done. Once she is done in the shower section and has her dress on I run and hurry to take a shower. I hear the blow dryer going.

"Annabeth how do you deal with Kelp Face so much?" I ask as I come out to see her finishing her hair

"Easy." She says

"How is it easy? Including when he is being himself?" I say as I start doing my hair

"I don't know I just do." She says and starts her make up

"Wow." I say and do my make up
"What?" She asks

"Your answers." I say

We finish getting ready. I look to see if Percy is in sight then we hurry back to our room. Annabeth hands me my silver heels. Then she grabs her black heels. She throw my my black cover up. Then grabs her grey cover up.

We start to walk down the stairs when I stop Annabeth.

"Let me go first. And you stay behind. Just watch me when I get to bottom and start walking down." I say

"Ok." She says

I walk down and look at Percy and he looks surprised. When I get to the bottom I look up and Annabeth then at Percy. When she comes into sight Percy looks dumb founded. I smirk so does Annabeth.

"You two look beautiful." Mrs. Jackson says

"Thanks." Annabeth says as she get to the bottom

"Who are we going out to dinner with anyway?" I ask

"You guys will see." Paul and Sally said
