Things Just Got Complicated

"So, dearie. What do you want to learn about your magic?" Shuriki said in her sweetest voice.

"Why are you asking that?" Lucina asked.

"I just wanted to know if you can help me with my plan to take over Avalor. And perhaps a few other kingdoms."

"Oh, why what a kind offer, Shuriki, but I don't want to waste your time."

"It's no trouble. Besides with my magic, my son's, and yours​  no one will be able to stop us."

"Well, some spells I think that might work are some spells to freeze people, a trapping spell, or a spell to push people back." Lucina said.

"Excellent. I have managed to get a spell book for your...How do you say it? Tamborita?"

"Yes. And thank you." Lucina said. 

She studied the book and made sure she got all the spells right for the next few hours. When she was done she went to Shuriki and said, "I'm done, Shuriki. I found all the spells we need."

"Good. Let's test it out on him." Shuriki said pushing Mateo to the ground.

Mateo couldn't do anything because he was tied up and was almost helpless. When Lucina saw his face she could tell what he was saying. She knew he didn't want his sister to go down this path.

"Gladly." Lucina said and casted the spell, "Vezti!"

She finally casted another good spell and it worked. But, she didn't use it on Mateo. Instead it hit Shuriki hard and fast.

Shuriki screamed, "Why you little... Didn't you hear me?! I said to hit him!"

Lucina laughed sarcastically, "Oh, Shuriki. You know what just happened? It's called a taste of your own medicine. And why would I help you? You are evil and I'm good."

Shuriki was filled with rage and commanded her son to attack Lucina.

"No." Renato answered his mom.

"No? You don't say no to me! You are my son and I'm your mother. And you obey me." Shuriki yelled.

"No. I don't want to be like you. I want to be kind and to have friends. And I'm on Lucina's side. And I'm helping her."

"You won't be able to help her if she's gone. Vadisima!" Shuriki aimed for Lucina.

"Lucina! Chivocu!" Renato said protecting her in a magic force field.

"Whoa. Renato, you just saved my life." Lucina smiled.

"Well, mom was about to..." Renato was cut off by a quick kiss from Lucina.

"Now, I have a kingdom to save. Think you can cover for me?" Lucina asked.

"Totally." Renato answered.

Lucina untied Mateo and he gasped for breath. When he was able to breathe normally he finally said, "What was that all about?"

"What are you talking about?" Lucina asked as if she was clueless.

"You like him. You like Renato."

"Uh...Hey, let's talk about this later. We still have a kingdom to save." Lucina blushed a little.

They soon unlocked the prison and helped their friends out.

"Now, where's Shuriki?" Elena asked with confidence in her voice.

When they soon got to where Shuriki and her son were they saw them having a sorceress to sorcerer-in-training fight. As Lucina saw the fight she started thinking about what is now happening and was remembering what happened in the past. When she thought of all these events she soon knew that things were about to get complicated.
