Chapter 18

"Bye!" Rose shouted out as she ran towards Maya waving at Jimin and Taehyung. Jungkook was walking besides Maya and Rose as they were leaving the park.

(Korean) "Maya, I need to tell you something." Jungkook said as he stopped in front of Maya.

"De." Maya responded with as Rose was trying to drag her away.

"Maebae let's go!" Rose shouted as she help onto Maya's hand with both hands trying to pull her.

"Rose, go play for a little bit, ill call you when we're going." Maya told Rose as she released her hand.

Rose did as she was told and went running to Taehyung and Jimin.

"Mianhe." Maya said as she turned back to face Jungkook.

"Sarangehae" Jungkook said as he held onto both of Maya's arms and looked down.

Maya didn't know how to respond. It's not that she didn't love him back, it was just she wanted to make sure it was actually her loving him back and not her as a fan wanting to be with him.

(Korean) "Nado sarangehae but, I need to make sure I love you love you. I don't want to love you just because I like you as a fan I want to love you properly. I don't want to hurt you. Plus! I'll be leaving Korea soon and I don't want to hurt you." Maya responded with as she released her hand from his and took a step back. She kept her gaze at the floor.
"Rose!" She shouted before Jungkook could say anything.
"Come on!"

Rose came running to her and she quickly walked out of the park back home.

The rest of the day went with Maya in her room with the fire locked. She didn't want to see anyone as she kept thinking about what happened. She really did like Jungkook, a lot, but she doesn't want to hurt him.
She was on her balcony leaning against the barrier looking at the view.

Her phone was going off non stop. All the messages were from Adrian and Minho telling her to open the door since knocking failed. Jungkook messaged her to see if she was okay. But all Maya wanted was time to think.

She took a long bath and went straight to beds. She was staring up at her ceiling trying to figure her own feelings out. She was confused about what was happening and she was confused about her own feelings. She knew she liked him but she knew if she liked him as a fan she would be no good to him or herself as she would try and work around what he liked but if she liked him as herself then that would mean true feelings are involved.

Maya didn't sleep much as all she was thinking about was what to do. Because she didn't sleep she stayed up at her desk doing some drawings. It always helped her in certain situations. She also liked to play the guitar when she was stressed or thinking about something but because it was the night she didn't bother to bother anyone else.
