Part 17

I entered the shop and got what I needed, cat food, food for myself, and bathroom necessities. After paying at the checkout, I began to walk back to my house. Once I realised that I was thirsty, I decided to pay a quick stop to Jin's cafe.

I walked in to see a big smile from Jin as usual, "hey Kook, what you after?" He asked, "anything to drink," I said and set my bags down in the back. He handed me a soda, I nodded to say thanks and gulped it down. Before crushing the can in my hand, and binning it.

"Up for some of the new cake?" Jin asked, "another one?" I questioned, and he nodded. He left for a moment, and came back with a piece of chocolate cake. "I need someone else's opinion on it," he told me as he scratched his neck. I nodded and took a bite.

"That's really good," I moaned and took another bite. He gave me a bright smile as I ate the food he made, "thanks Kook," he told me. "Anytime," I replied before washing my own dish. "You don't have to do that," Jin said. But I ignored him completely, and put a few other things away too.

"You're too nice," Jin sighed. I smiled as I wiped the counter, Jin checked the till to see how they were doing. Practically no one works here apart from Jin, and two part timers, so I like to help out when I can too. The door opened and a bunch of familiar faces walked in.

"Heya!" Hoseok sang, "oh hey guys," Jin smiled. I just bowed as usual, Yoongi gave me a pat on the back, "don't have to be so formal with us." He told me, "don't worry about it, he's formal with me still too." Jin chuckled.

"What brings you all here then?" Jin asked, "we're hungry!!" Tae whined and clung to me, "get us food pleeeeaase!" He complained, everyone nodded, as if they were being starved. "You or me?" Jin asked, "I can take the counter." I told him, and took a spare apron as he walked to the back.
