Part 20

I sat in my room with Arlo in my lap, when I heard the letter box. I placed Arlo on the bed, and went to check on it. I walked to the door to see a letter sitting on the floor. I picked it up to see it had no postage on it, hand delivered.

I walked into the living room before opening it.

To Jungkook:
I really don't know how to start this, and I'm terrified that I'm going to mess everything we have up. The hugging, hanging out, all of that stuff. But I'm just going to go for it.

I love you Jungkook.

I love your big eyes, I love your smile, I love the sound of your voice, I love how you sass at people with such a plain expression, I love how you make everyone laugh, I love how adorable you are, I love how kind you are, I love how gentle you are, I love your cooking, I love your personality.
I love everything about you

The only thing I don't like about you is that, 1 you doubt yourself so much, 2 think you aren't great, and 3. 
That I'm not a bigger part of your life.

My eyes widened at his name. I didn't think he liked me like that. I stood there in surprise for god knows how long, before I ran out of the house after grabbing something, letter in hand. And ran all the way to his house - not stopping for anything. I was tired once I reached his door, but ignored that and knocked.

I wrote at the bottom of the paper, and bit my lip. There was a bit of shuffling, but he unlocked the door, and opened it. "Jungkook?" He said as I stared at the ground.

I was terrified as I posted the letter, but I still slipped it through the letter box, and ran back to my car and driving back home. I had never walked so fast in my life as I made my way into my house, tightly slamming the door behind me, and placing my back against it with a huff.

I bit my lip and sighed. What if he didn't like me? Guess it was worth a shot...
I sat there for a while, pacing back and forth, worrying about what he would say. When there was a knock at the door.

I shuffled over to the door, and opened it. "Jungkook?" I said in shock, feeling my heart race as I saw him. He stood there looking nervous, with pink cheeks. Before ding something I didn't expect. 

He hugged me, burying his head into my chest. I took my hands off the door and wall, and wrapped them around them. For once he was rather warm... We stood there, rocking side to side. "Jungkook?" I said, wanting to know why he was here.

He slowly stepped out of the hug staring at the ground. I tilted my head, looking alright on the outside, but screaming and dying on the inside. I silently gulped as he held out a letter. I took it from him and unfolded it, it was the letter I have him. With a little note neatly put at the bottom.

I like you too
