Her singing was... I couldn't believe that she could sing so well. Then she was playing the guitar. I just stared like an idiot.

Then the last line was played and it was over. Her guitar strings still vibrating as she looked at me. "I can only play this song on the piano." Petra said and pressed a key. I recognized it.

"I just cant play this scale." Petra said and pressed the A minor scale. "Wait, it's like this." I said and reached out to take her wrist. She flinched as I silently guided her to press the keys. We played like that the whole time.

"How did I not know that you could play the piano?" Petra asked and I gave her a lopsided smile. " You don't always notice me, in Bio."

I saw her blush and she pressed the key that I taught her. "We have Bio, right? Homework, I mean." Petra asked after awhile and I thought for a moment.

"Yeah. Come-" I started to say when the doorbell rang. Petra immediately looked at her clock and stood up. "Well, come on, you'll wanna meet my dad." She grinned and held out a hand to me. I carefully took it and stood up, following her to the door of her bedroom.

"Dad?" Petra called and stepped outside. I saw a man put down a bag but stopped when he saw me. "Petra, you don't say..." he chuckled and Petra rolled her eyes. "He's a friend." she replied and the man held out a hand for me to shake.

"Dad, Jesse, Jesse, Dad." Petra said and he man shook my hand, hard. Like how Axel would. "You can call me Diesel."  I grinned. "Like the fuel?" I asked and Diesel laughed loudly. "Your name's like a girl's." he replied and Petra grinned as well.

"Alright, alright." I said and he nodded, an unspoken language that meant that I wasn't to make fun of his name and he wouldn't make fun of mine.

"Dad, we're gonna continue studying. Call us if you need anything." Petra said and Diesel nodded. "Just study." he repeated and I flushed, but I didn't know why.

After awhile, everything was silent as Petra and I studied, up in her room.

All I could hear was her scratching of her pencil across her Bio worksheets. I looked over at her and noticed her hair, falling into her eyes. I looked away, feeling my head starting to pound.

She was looking at me. "Can I ask you something?' I asked and leaned back. "You just did." she smirked. "Whatever, what's your full name?" I asked.

She looked at me, her eyes suddenly bright, but she looked away, her face red.
