The Crush

Chapter 1

Parkers POV:
It's currently 5a.m. and I don't have to be at school for another 3 hours. I have been up all night and I can't stop thinking about the first day of senior year! I'm so excited to see my friends Hadley and Kate. (Even though I was with them last week, but it feels like forever!!!)

It's about 7a.m. right now and I'm all ready for school. I got on the bus when I forgot who would be there....

Oh crap, I forgot about Avery, I thought.

Avery Nicholas Alexander, the quarter back of the football team, and the love of my life. (I'm not a stalker for knowing his full name, I just know him really well.)

I tried to avoid looking at him but then he smiled at me.

"Hey Parker." I wasn't sure I heard that right but then he repeated it. "Hey Parker."

I immediately froze and I didn't know what to do. Suddenly someone came up behind me and whispered, "Say hey back to him." And I immediately knew who it was.

"Kate!!!!" I screamed so everyone on the bus looked at me. I didn't care because I was with my two best friends now. Then I remembered what she had just said and I turned around timidly and said, "Hey Avery."

Kates POV:
I couldn't stand seeing my best friend making a fool of herself so I whispered to Hadley, "I'm gonna save her, hopefully."

I walked up behind Parker and whispered, "Say hey back." She screamed my name as loud as possible then she turned around and said hey to her lifelong crush, Avery Alexander.

When we finally got to school, I couldn't believe Parkers face. She looked mortified. I have never seen that face on her. And I just have to say, mortified does not look good on Parker. She is usually the bravest out of everyone in our school. Then again she's also the only blonde in our school so everyone expects her to be stupid, but she is actually very smart.

Hadley was shocked at what she was seeing. I know exactly what she feels and why she feels it. Twin telepathy is awesome! I always know who she likes, why she likes him, and I always end up telling Parker.

Hadleys POV:
When we walked into the school, I took my time to get to class because seniors only need to go to 3rd, 5th, and 7th period. I honestly don't know why I came to school early.

When I saw Lucas I bolted for class. He's Averys best friend and I have the biggest crush on him. I got a glimpse of his schedule and.... We have the same schedule.

As the bell to leave rang, I ran out of school as fast as I could just to avoid Lucas.... With my luck, I ran straight into him....

"Hey Hadley." he said as he helped me up.

"Uhhhh.... h-hi L-Lucas." I stuttered, looking like a fool in the process.

"Cat got your tongue? Haha" He said when he realized how nervous I was.

"Haha...... I'll uhh see you later. Bye" Then I ran away before he could answer me.

Authors Note:
Okay, so I'm gonna have a little authors note at the end of the chapter from now on. I have officially decided to post every Saturday and Wednesday. Also, I know some of you might think that Parker is a boys name and Avery is a girls name, but they are unisex names. I also know that this chapter is short, but from now on they will be long. I will try to update as soon as possible and yes, you will eventually get Averys POV.
