Parkers POV:
I've been trying to avoid Avery all week. It sucks because we both have the same classes periods 3, 5, and 7, which happen to be our only classes.
"Hey Parker, you wanna walk home together?" I knew exactly who said it and I froze.
"Umm...... S-sure Avery. L-let me just g-go tell H-Hadley and Kate." I hesitantly turned around to face him. I gave him a shy smile and then ran off to find my friends.
By the time I found the girls I was shaking like a fish out of water. "What's wrong?" The girls asked, obviously worried.
"Avery just asked me to walk home with him!" I said as fast as I could so I wouldn't stutter. My friends had their mouths wide open. They slowly started to smile.
Should I be worried, I thought to myself. Then they looked at each other like those possessed twins in movies. I probably should run, I thought just before I ran back to Avery.
When I finally got to Avery, I said, "Let's go," with a huge smile on my face.

When we started walking, Avery randomly asked me a question. "So, what's your favorite TV show?"
I replied, clearly confused, "Grey's Anatomy. What's yours?
"Mine is Grey's Anatomy too!" He replied excitedly.
"Haha. I guess I can call you Bambi." I said jokingly.

Averys POV:
We were so focused on our conversation that we passed Parkers house and ended up at the park 2 miles from her house. When we got there we went straight to the swings. She used to be so shy around me, but now.... she's like a whole new person. She's talking to me as if I was Hadley or Hadleys twin... Kate, I believe.
Parker told me almost everything about her. From her birthday to her favorite politician. I have heard that she likes me, but I'm not sure. If she does, I have to tell her the truth.

At dusk, we decided to head back to her house, since her mom called her like 50 times. When we got there, she turned to face me. Her blue eyes looked into mine and slowly shifted to my lips. My mouth opened to say something, but nothing came out. Finally I heard,"I like you.... Well, I don't like you because I think I love you."
I was 100 percent speechless at that point. I didn't want to lie, but I didn't want to say the truth."I'll get back to you on that." I quickly said as I ran towards my house.

Wow, only 435 words. Last chapter was around 635 words. Sorry for the late post. I will try my best to make these chapters longer, its just hard to think of what to write about.But what do you think Avery is going to say? Do you think he will say yes, or no? By the way this was so cheesy. The next chapter will be two weeks after the first week of school. I'm not going to spoil anything, then again, nobody ever has.
