The friends sat down in Sophie's room after depositing their stuff.

"What're we going to play?" asked Biana eagerly, scooching closer to sit next to Sophie.

"Yeah!" said Dex, trying, but failing to also scooch closer to Sophie.

"Well, I know a lot of human games." said Sophie, mentally calculating what she would do. "I was thinking we could start with truth or dare."

"Oooooh, Foster!" squealed Keefe, vibrating slightly with excitement. "Can I go first? Pretty please? I know some AWESOME dares... Like-"

"Keefe." interrupted Fitz "I think Sophie should go first so that we know how to play."

"But I DO know how to play!" argued Keefe. "And it would be super awesome to go first!"

"Keefe." whispered Fitz so that the others couldn't hear "Just deal with it." Keefe scowled.

"Fine, Foster. Wonderboy here says you should go first and to shut up and deal with it." Sophie glanced at Fitz, wondering how much of that was true.

"Uuuummm, Okay." consented Sophie. "So, just a few rules. One person asks another person, of their choice, to choose truth or dare. If the other person picks dare, then the person dares them to do something, like do a flip, or something like that." She was interrupted when Keefe raised his hand. "Yes, Keefe?" she asked sarcastically.

"I was just wondering if the dares can be embarrassing." asked Keefe, smirking at the horrified look on Biana's face.

"They can be anything you want." assured Sophie. "IF someone picks truth, however, they have to answer any question truthfully that the other person asks. Is that clear?" her friends nodded.

"Great, um, then I guess I'll go first." said Sophie nervously. "I pick Keefe. Truth or dare?" Keefe grinned wickedly and answered

"Dare, of course. I'm not a scaredy-cat." Sophie leaned over to whisper something in his ear.

"You don't have to tell us what it was?" asked Linh.

"If you were answering a truth question, you would have to say the answer out loud, but you don't have to say the question." explained Sophie. "If you do a dare, you don't have to say anything, and leave the effect for a surprise."

"Are you going to do your dare, Keefe?" asked Tam. Keefe shrugged.

"It will be done some time tonight." he said, wiggling his eyebrows in a suspicious manner. Everyone groaned. "Now it's my turn. Fitz, truth or dare?"

"Truth." Fitz said. Sophie smirked to herself. She had purposely dared Keefe to ask Fitz who he liked, and not to tell anyone. This way, Linh would never suspect that Sophie was behind it. It was perfect.

"I choose to say mine out loud." said Keefe, smirking at the flash of nervousness that was present for a second on his best-buddy's face. "Fitz, which girl in here do you like the best?" Fitz turned beet red. "And it can't be your sister." added Keefe, sealing his misery. "And I mean like-like. Not just like. You know?"

"You're saying he has to pretty much say if he has a bigger crush on Sophie or Linh? Not that he has one at all?" asked Tam, sending Fitz a sympathetic smile.

"Pretty much." said Keefe, gleeful to the end. Fitz looked down at his hands, growing redder still.

"I like-"

"Say it, buddy. Trust me, if you get it out it will be better off than holding it in and having me pester you all night." Fitz glared at Keefe.

"I like-"

"HEY KIDS! TIME FOR DINNER!" called a voice. Edaline. Fitz whooped, and Keefe groaned.

"That doesn't get you out of this." warned Keefe. "As soon as dinner is over, you are telling me whether you like it or not." Fitz scowled, but secretly he was glad that he got to keep his secret a little longer. Sophie sighed, and wondered how much longer she would have to wait to know the truth.
