Chapter 6: BANG!!!

Natsu woke up right after he fell asleep with lucy on his shoulder. He slowly started sliding off the bed trying not to wake her. She had a beautiful smile while her blonde hair fell perfectly over her face. Natsu stared for a second and chuckled at the thought this might be his future.
Natsu continued downstairs to feel a breeze coming from the broken window. He just threw a blanket to cover the window. He walked over to the fridge and stopped to stare at pictures on the door. The pictures were all of him and lucy . He couldn't help but to start remember all the fantastic times they had. The pictures of them when they were little. Playing with dolls and the time lucy dressed Natsu up as a female with makeup and a pink dress with sparkles. He continued to scan the pictures but was shocked at one picture he saw. A Christmas card from the Heartfillia's. They were all so happy when the dad used to have a job. He noticed how their smiles were not fake. They were truly happy, especially lucy . She had her hair in this weird to the side pontail she always wore.
A tear started to form in Natsu's eye as he made a promise to Mrs. Heartfillia
" I promise I'm going to make her truly happy, as my wife or just my friend, no matter the situation, I will always be here for her"
Natsu wiped the tear from his eye and continued to look inside his fridge to find something to eat. He found a strawberry yogurt and went back up stairs. He seen lucy passed out and happy in her arms. They both seemed like they were in deep sleep and
Natsu crept back into the bed. He finished the yogurt and put the plastic cup and spoon on his night stand. He wrapped his hands around lucy and closed his eyes. His heart beat grew a little. lucy 's skyrocketed as she was not asleep.
Natsu didn't realize lucy creeped down the stairs right after he left the room. She heard everything he had promised and noticed the tear come from his eye. Her heart started to beat really fast as she listened to the promise Natsu made. She didn't realize how Natsu felt about her but Natsu never noticed the feelings lucy had for him. She had tip toed back up the stairs and into the bed faking to be asleep so Natsu didn't know she heard everything. Happy had come into her arms as she laid down. When Natsu walked in the room she tried to stay still and pretend to be asleep. She knew it worked when Natsu came into the bed and made her heart rush faster than a high speed train. They both feel asleep while close to each other.
The two slept peacefully together but didn't see the next event forming after the fight. lucy 's dad never went to sleep that night. He continued to drink the night away but a idea hit him. His wife was gone and his daughter was too. He had one person to blame and that was Natsu. In his mind he taught Natsu should had stopped his wife from leaving. Just like he did for lucy . He thought Natsu was brainwashing lucy to turn her against him and make her think the death of her mother was his fault.
He knew the solution to this problem and how to get his daughter back on his side. He would shoot the kid when he wasn't looking and would leave him for dead where ever he fell. The man went into his house and waited with his loaded 9mm for the opportunity to get him. It was 11 o'clock in the morning when he finally found the time and place. He watched Natsu get into his car and drive off and he followed. He had no idea where Natsu was going but knew he would have to stop somewhere.

Natsu stopped at a red light thinking about what he was going to get for the window. He checked his phone for any messages or calls. He didn't realize the shady black truck that pulled up behind him and how it was lucy 's dad.

Mr. Heartfillia checked for any witnesses and found nobody. He put his car in park and hopped outed. He walked up to the driver window and seen the pink headed boy looking down at his phone. He lifted the gun from his waist and raised it to the window. The first loud bang of the gun shattered the window and the bullet went into Natsu's shoulder. Natsu gasped in pain as Mr. Heartflillia felt nothing letting the shots fire out one after another. The second one went into his arm as he tried to climb to his right. The third one went into his thigh. The fourth and fifth shot missed and went into the car's leather seats. The next two shots that came into the stomach and side of Natsu.

Me. Heartfillia ran back to his car and drove off.

Natsu was left a bloody mess in the driver seat of his car.
