Emily woke up to the screams of a girl from across the room. She winced when she realized that she couldn't cover her ears. Emily heard Jason talking to her in a soothing voice as he did what he did, which didn't make it better as she had learned. Emily coughed and that shut Jason and the girl up.

"Emily," he growled, "I see the anesthesia wore off. Why don't you join me and Violet over here for our party?"

He grinned manically and pulled Emily over towards the girl, whose name seems to be Violet, by her hair. She screamed in agony and groaned as he dragged her across the room in front of the younger girl, whose fingers were partially cut off. Emily winced and Violet cried. Poor girl, her fingers were being not-so-nicely amputated for no reason at all. Jason picked up the nearby knife, which was rusted over, and took one last swing at Violet's fingers, slicing them right off as Violet screamed. He collected them in a jar and exited the room. What was left of Violet's small hand was bleeding like a waterfall. Emily sobbed as Violet whimpered.

Would Violet's fate become Emily's? Would it be worse? Only time will tell.
