There were some routines in Camp Half-Blood. They trained us how to use weapons, learn about monsters, language classes, and capture flag games. Aunt Selene taught me most of them since I was very little, now all of those subjects seemed easy. They said we can choose any weapon we wanted, I guess I didn't have to do that because I already have my dagger.

Percy and Leo accompanied me to the field where they usually practiced to fight. Percy used his sword, he called it Riptide. I wonder if I could give a name to my dagger? Leo gave me a sword, it was lighter than I thought. If the sword weight was light, then we have to focus on our eyes and feet, gotta go fast.

Percy smirked. "I'll be easy on you, Phoebe."

"You'll regret that." I said.

Leo yelled, "Start!!"

Percy didn't move, he let me attack first. I ran toward him, he swung Riptide to the right. Then he would not be armored on the left side. I used my left hand to touch his left waist. Percy's hand reflexed to hold my hand. I knew that, that was a decoy. I tackled him when he wasn't aware and put my sword beside his neck.

"Woah." That was all he could say.

"Awesome! Ladies and gentleman, Phoebe McGary defeated Percy Jackson!" Leo screamed.

"Shut up Leo!"

I laughed and helped him to get up, but he pulled me instead. He was on top of me. "You shouldn't be unguarded."

I blushed a bit. "Oh, come on, I just won the fight right?" I grumbled and pushed him away.

Leo still laughed at us. Annabeth came with Will, she looked annoyed. "Stop playing around." She said firmly.

"Ah, sorry." I said.

"We've just done sword fighting." Percy grinned. "She beat me."

Will burst in laughter. "You're getting weak, Jackson."

Percy laughed sarcastically. "Ha-ha-ha,"

"Phoebe, we got to train you with other kinds of weapons." Said Annabeth. She looked at the sword in my hand. "I see you are good with swords and daggers, now let's try archery."

"I cannot do archery, I've never done it before."

"But you've done sword fighting and practiced to kill something with a dagger?" Annabeth stared at me.

I nodded at her question. "I did a lot of training. Four times a week."

"Damn, that is a lot. Who trained you?" asked Leo, hands on his hip.

"My aunt." I shrugged. They looked at me weird and things got awkward. "Let's go, archery right?" I asked them to break the silence.

"Ah, yes, come one." Will led the way.

On the way to the archery field something crossed my mind. If we had to fight monsters with weapons, why can't we use shotguns? It would be a lot easier.

"Hey, Percy, why can't we use shotguns to defeat monsters?"

Percy laughed, it was like I asked a stupid question. "You cannot defeat monsters with guns, you have to defeat them with weapons from the camp or from celestial bronze. Like mine," He lifted a pen then it turned to Riptide. I couldn't help but look in awe. "Riptide was made of celestial bronze."

So, how could I kill Stymphalian Bird with kitchen knives?

"Don't you think people will be scared if they see teenagers with swords?"
