My heart dropped once I realized I was in the water. I moved my arm and legs to prevent me drowning, but the water felt heavy. They immediately rushed to my lungs as I tried to reach the surface. I started seeing black dots.

"Phoebee!!"

A pair of arms hoisted me out of the water. It stayed on my waist to keep me above the surface. I started to cough out water and felt a hand gently patting my back. My body was trembling, I hugged Percy and held onto him tightly.

"It's okay, it's okay, you are safe now."

My senses were coming back to me. I recognized that voice, it was Percy's. Percy kept rubbing my back till I stopped shaking. I slowly released my grip on him.

"Thank you." I whispered. I looked at his green eyes filled with worry.

"Let's get you back to the land." He said firmly. I nodded and just followed him.

Percy sat me down on the beach shore. I coughed, trying to take out the water from my lungs and nose.

"Do you feel better?"

I just nodded. "Too much water."

Percy deep chuckled.

"Phoebe! Are you alright?!" I heard someone yelling at a distance. It was Hazel, she ran to me with Nico beside her.

"I guess my secret is out." I mumbled to myself. I suddenly felt useless because I couldn't even swim.

Nico removed his jacket and put it on me. Percy snapped his eyes to him secretly. "Thank you, Nico." I smiled at him, he returned a faint smile.

"Let's gather up." Percy talked. "Where are the others?"

"Over there." Hazel showed with her shoulder.

From afar we could see Annabeth had a fight with Leo, while Jason tried to separate them. He was in the middle of them and talking with fatherly mode.

"We have to get there before Jason gets killed."

All of us nodded in agreement and made our walk. Apparently the conversation had heated up more as we arrived. Leo put his hands up in disbelief and decided to storm off. He walked past us and mumbled 'puta', referring to Annabeth.

Annabeth put her hands on hips, she was definitely pissed. "This is exactly why I said we should split up."

"Okay fine if that is what you want." Jason sighed.

We immediately gave him a disapproving look. "We don't have any better plan since Argo II has broken down. Let's split into three teams. Phoebe you are with Percy and Leo. Annabeth with Hazel. Last team is me and Nico."

"You can't just decide who is on the team." Annabeth interfered.

"I just did." Jason gave her side eye. "I already helped you with your split up idea. Now the team, I have decided."

"That means, the first team is going to Chicago. The second is going to meet Amazon. And you, Jason, you are going to get the hunter right? Since your sister is there."

"Correct." Jason nodded.

"Do we have to go now?" Hazel asked.

"No, we need to take a rest." Percy said before Annabeth could speak. "We all are tired. We need to have rest, get something to eat then we can leave."

We nodded in unison. We decided to try to move Argo II to the beach shore first, it took more than two hours. Argo II rubble was scattered everywhere. Leo's heart was broken, he looked really sad. Thank God the mess hall wasn't completely destroyed. We cleaned ourselves, put on new shirts and grabbed something to eat.

Leo and Jason made a campfire, we sat down surrounding the campfire while munching our food. We still couldn't get over what happened to Argo II so we ate in silence. I rested my back on a log with Hazel beside me, listening to the ocean wave rolled toward the beach.

"Nico is fond of you." Hazel said with a mouth full of turkey burgers.

I looked at her and raised my eyebrows. "How do you know that?"

"His eyes sparkled everytime he looked at you. It's been a while since Nico acted that way." She said while looking at the stars. "But how come you didn't realize that? He gave you his jacket."

"I was drowning remember?"

"All of us were almost drowned yet he only gave his jacket to you. Why didn't he give it to me? I'm his sister."

"Um..." I shrugged. I thought when my friend told me I was dense they didn't lie. I chuckled to myself. "He does look cold on the outside but he is a softie."

"Can't argue with that." She wiped off her mouth and drank.

Now that Hazel had told me about Nico's feeling I started to notice him a little. My eyes scattered around in search of Nico, I saw him talking to Percy. Nico had pushed his wet hair to the back which made him look different. I could see his forehead, his eyebrows, and his blazing deep dark eyes clearly. Those eyes were different from Percy's. Percy's eyes were green, calming, and captivating, it was really hard to focus somewhere other than his eyes when I talked to him.

"Phoebe."

"Huh yeah?" Hazel snapped me back to reality.

"Which one do you choose? Die with honor for your best friend or decide not to die because you have someone you love?" she looked at me intensely.

I was about to answer but Leo called us to gather up. Hazel didn't let me answer and left immediately.

"I've checked how bad Argo II damages are. They were terrible. I had to rearrange everything and fix the deck and the mast. I can't leave my baby."

"You are implying...?"

"I can't go to Chicago." He sighed.

"There is no way we're leaving you alone, Leo." I stated. "You have to come with me and Percy."

"Well I can't leave this ship. Someone might find out and take it away." Leo persisted.

"Come on man, you know that's dangerous." Jason said.

"Think of it this way." Leo wiggled his hands. "If I fixed the ship, don't you think it would be easier for each team to unite?"

We stayed in silence. He had a point, but the thought of leaving Leo alone while working on his ship was just unbearable to me. What if he got attacked? And die?

"He has a point." Percy said, followed by Jason and Annabeth's agreement.

"Thank you." Leo said weakly.

"Can you please take a quick nap before starting working?" I pleaded to him.

"Of course."

The boys were on guard except Leo. Annabeth, Hazel and I lied down near the tree log earlier. Annabeth and Hazel shared a blanket, while I was quite comfy with just Nico's jacket. Little did I know Percy was staring at me deeply since Nico gave me his jacket.
