Percy's POV

We decided to go at 8 o'clock in the morning. We ate our leftovers snack, packed our stuff and left. The mission was to find Asteria in Chicago, but we didn't really know exactly where she was.

"Let's sit down." Phoebe said. I could see she was tired from all the walking.

We went to the nearest park and sat down on the bench. I gave her a water bottle to drink.

"We've been walking for two hours and we have zero clues." I sighed.

Phoebe took a big gulp, wiped her mouth and said. "Let's call him."

"Did you mean Iris' message?" I pursued my lips while holding my laugh.

She rolled her eyes then hit my shoulder playfully. "Ugh, yeah, totally forgot demigod use that term for communication."

I took out a drachma from my pocket. "Let's find somewhere quiet." Phoebe nodded.

When we were about to stand up, an old lady walked past us out of nowhere. She accidentally hit my arm and the drachma fell from my hand.

"Watch it boy!" She hissed.

I was about to say something but Phoebe cut me off. "We are really sorry ma'am. We were on your way." She said with an apologetic smile.

The old lady's face softened and gave the warmest smile ever. What was that? She smiled to Phoebe and not to me? Oh great!

"I should be sorry too, my dear. I think your coin just rolled and went to the sewer."

Phoebe smiled again. "That's okay. We have lots of coins."

"How about if I make it up for you?" the old lady asked as she stepped closer. "I have so many cookies at my shop, both of you can try some and bring them home. My shop is just right over there." She pointed to the south.

We shared glances. Phoebe seemed okay with it and I didn't think we were in a position to reject this old lady.

"But I need help." The old lady smiled. Her smile seemed off. "I need your friend to carry me to my shop. My feet are very weak, I can barely walk."

So how could she possibly walk pass through us with quite force, huh?

"Do you mean Percy?" Phoebe held her laugh while looking at me. I looked at Phoebe with pleading eyes, begging her to say no. "Sure, he can do it." Of course she would agree with that old lady.

"Thank you dear." The old lady smiled. "Oh, I'm sorry, I haven't properly introduced myself. My name is Phoebe, everybody calls me Granny Phoebe."

"Oh really? What a great coincidence, my name is Phoebe too!" Phoebe chirped excitedly. "Now granny you can hop on Percy's back!" She tapped my back real hard.

Granny Phoebe hoped on my back. I was shocked with how heavy she was. I didn't mean to be rude but she had a small figure, I didn't expect her to be really heavy.

"Ugh..."

"If you're complaining, then you are weak." Granny Phoebe chuckled deeply in my ear. Phoebe definitely couldn't hear it because she walked in front of me.

Not to brag but I worked out a lot and I had muscle but the weight of this old lady was unbelievable. I started to walk but my movement became very slow like a sloth. Every time I tried to lift my foot, it felt like my foot was nailed to the ground. I was drenched with sweat by the time we reached the exit gate of the park.
