I couldn’t sleep for the rest of the night so I stayed in my office just pacing back and forth until my brother came in
“you should get some sleep” I shook my head and finally sat down on the sofa
“I would but I cant” he looked at me confused
“why not?” I sighed and ran a hand through my hair
“zelta is scratching to get out but if I let her, she’s gunna go after sally and blow the whole plan and I cant risk that” he sat next to me and nodded his head
“I know what your going through” I turned and looked at him
“how exactly?” he sighed and sat back
“danny’s mom had taken him for the first 3 months of his life, I searched everywhere for them and when I finally found her she had told me that he died from SIDS” I gasped but he continued
“I let her go and the next day a thought clicked” I looked at him expectantly
“what thought?” he smirked
“shifters don’t and cant get SIDS”(for those who dont know SIDS is a deadly disease babies get called Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) I laughed and shook my head
“so how did you get him back?” he smiled
“I found my mate and she just happened to be her best friend and baby sat for her” I smiled back at him
“at least you had a happy ending” he had a pained look before he shook his head
“danny’s mom was so pissed that Maggie had betrayed her, so she set her up to pick up some soup for her sick mom and even though I begged and pleaded for her not to go or for her to take me too, she went by herself and she killed her” I felt so bad and I surprised myself when I pulled him into a hug
“I am so sorry to hear that” he hugged back before sniffling
“its ok, I’ll get my revenge soon” I pulled back and looked at him
“what was her name?” he gave me a questioning look
“meg” my jaw about hit the floor
“megan sommers?” he nodded his head
“yea, how did you know that?” I laughed and stood up to refill my drink
“you don’t have to worry about her” he raised his eyebrows at me
“why not?” I smirked at him
“because she’s my prisoner” he shot out of his seat
“where and why?” I shook my head
“in the dungeon, and long story short she fucked with the wrong she-wolf and pup” he nodded his head but before he could open his mouth to speak amy came running in with wide eyes
“mommy!” I ran to her side and kneelt down to her level
“what happened, princess?” she shook her head and pulled me into a hug
“elder pam said that you were killed, you jumped off of a cliff” I shook my head and hugged her closer while kissing her head
“im fine princess, I didn’t jump off no cliff” she started crying as I sat on the couch with her on my lap
“but she described everything to me, mommy, everything” I growled but pulled her closer
“troy” he came running in followed by jake and shawn
