Jax

I had one of the best rooms in this place because I was a champ and my master wanted me to be able to well rested. However, the only thing about it is that I have to share the room with another champ. He was the male champ, I was the female champ. Once I get to my room the guards took off the handcuffs and locked the door to the room once I was inside.

Once I was inside I was tackled, "Thank god you are okay!" Jax said.

Jax was my roommate and my one and only friend. "Ha, you have little fate in me, were you worried? Well I see how it is next time you need something" I said acting annoyed.

"No I have faith in you but I just get really worried when you go out there that I might not see you again." He looks away and walks over to his bed. "Look I'm sorry but I just.... I'm sorry I know you don't like all the mushy emotional stuff but I don't want to lose you."

I go over to him and sit down. "Yea I don't like the emotional stuff but I can see where you're coming from, I'll try not to die in the fights okay."

"You know that's not what I meant but I'll take it." He looks over at me and smiles a sad smile "Anyway why don't you get some sleep."

"Okay goodnight Jax" I go over and kiss his cheek. "Goodnight Alex."

I woke up by rolling off my bed, yea I know, best way to wake up. "Hahaha, why are you on the floor?"

I hear coming from the other side of the room. I look and see Jax laughing on his bed so I run over to and pull him off his bed. "Why are you on the floor Jax?" I said looking down at him. "Not Funny A."

"Well it was funny when I was on the floor but not when you are, wow."

"You know what I mean. Now I'm going to go to the bathroom." Right as he finished saying that I closed the bathroom door. "Hey I called bathroom first!"

"Ha-ha, well too bad you need to be faster than that!" I laugh and started the shower. While I let it, warm up I looked in the mirror. I was a normal 19-year-old girl, I guess, I had brown eyes, I was 5'7", and I was skinny however I had muscle from being a werewolf but the weirdest thing was that my hair was two different colors. Now I know that some people are born with high lights but my hair doesn't have those high lights no my hair was brown but then it faded into black and no matter how many times I cut it the black always comes back.

I stopped looking at myself and jumped into the shower. I finished my business and went into the closet connecting to the bathroom and closed the door then I yelled for Jax to use the bathroom. I got dressed in some training close. I had on a black sports bra, black leggings, and black sneakers. We are only able to have workout clothes because that is the only thing we can do.

When I stepped out of the closet Jax stepped into the closet with only a towel on. "Hey umm." "Hey umm yea, so umm." When he was going to say something, someone knocked on the door signaling that it's time to eat breakfast.

"Well I'll see you at breakfast I guess." And with that I ran out of the room. I opened the door and ran into the guard that was knocking at the door. "Hey watch it girl!" He growled to me. "Shut up!" I yelled back to him. Then he grabbed my arm and pushed my into the wall. "Don't ever say that to me or else!" He yelled at me.

"Or else what, you can't touch me unless you want the master to hear about it? Hmmm." I questioned him. He looked pale and he knew that I had the power over him. "Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go get breakfast." I left him standing there and went to the dining hall.

When I got there, I saw that my master had already sat down and was eating. I went over and sat next to him. He likes to have me and Jax sit next to him because we are his prized fights as he calls us but we are more like his pets, his prized pets. So, if anyone of his guards' mess with us they have to take it up with him. Right when he was about to talk to me, the guard that growled at me earlier was back for another round.

"Hey bitch! You can't tell me what to do or else I will knock your teeth in, so you can't ever talk again!" He yelled at me while stomping towards me however he didn't get that close to me when Jax came out of nowhere and had him on the ground.

"What were you saying to her?" He said calmly. I got up and went over to them but before I did anything I looked at my master. He looked at me and knotted his head. I then proceeded to grab the guard that was on the floor by the neck and lifted him up off the ground. I looked him in the eye and asked "What were you saying?"

He of course couldn't say anything since I was suffocating him. However right when he was about to pass out I dropped him to the ground. He landed hard on the ground and started to cough. I bent down so my head was close to his and said "Never mess with me cause the next time you do you won't be landing on the ground in one piece."

I stood up and walked over to the table and sat down with Jax sitting across from me. I looked at my master and saw that he had went back to his breakfast not caring about his almost dead guard on the ground. He finally looked up from his plate when me and Jax got our food. I thanked the girl that brought over my breakfast while Jax just took it.

"So, you two will train today. It will be an easy day since that win yesterday brought in more money than the last one." I looked at him and asked "When is the next fight?" He looked at me and I just continued to eat my breakfast.

"So far no one has come forward to challenge you. So, I don't know, however, Jax you have a fight next week so be ready." "I will" that was all that we talked about, the rest of breakfast was silent besides the rest of the people in the hall.
