Marking

I woke up to birds chirping and branches breaking. I opened eyes and saw the sun and trees. Wait what, the sun and trees. OMG!! We escaped! I jumped up and looked around me. There were people everywhere, some were taking care of children, some were getting supplies, and some were just staring at me. I looked down and saw that I was covered in blood however it wasn't my blood thank goddess. I saw that there was a river nearby and my bag was next to me. So, I went to the river and cleaned up.

Once I was done I went in search of Jax. As I was looking for him almost everyone I pasted thanked me. I finally found him with a group of guys.

"Hey Jax." I called out.

"Hey baby." He smiled at me.

"What's going on here?" I asked looking at the men and the maps.

"Well we are trying to figure out what to do now." One of the men said looking at the map. I stepped forward and looked at the map.

I pointed to an area of the map. "There, that's where we go."

"Why there?" Another man questioned.

"Because that's where we are meant to go." I left after that. I don't know why but I just needed to go there.

"Babe you alright?" Jax ran after me.

"Yea, I'm fine. It's just that Ember is telling me we must go there. So, since we have nowhere else to go let's just go there." I suggested.

"Okay, Baby. Well I'm mean you're right, we don't have anywhere to go. So at least we do now." He put his arm across my shoulders.

"Just one question." I looked at him.

"What is it babe?" He asked.

"What happened last night?" I looked at him and his face changed.

"I'll tell you some other time. Okay?" He replied.

"Okay." I answered. It must have been bad if he isn't going to tell me.

After a couple of hours, we set out in a north-west direction. Everyone who could shift were in their wolf form and people who couldn't shift were riding some of the other wolves. Jax and I were leading the pack making sure no rogues were around and making sure we didn't go into someone else's territory.

It took almost a week to get to the place because a lot of people needed to rest and there were a lot of children with us. Jax and I made some of the wolves' scouts to make sure that we were safe. Some of them were hunters and some were just extra protection. While Jax and I made sure we were going the right way. As we were traveling Jax and I's relationship has gotten deeper. So, deep that he wants to mark me. However, I don't know if I should let him do it. Every time I think about it Ember doesn't say anything about it. Which is weird cause she never lets me alone about anything.

"Hey! I heard that!" She growled in my head. I rolled my eyes and continued to walk around. As I was walking I heard a twig snap behind me. I turned around and saw Jax walking over to me. He smiled at me and I smiled at him. When he got over to me, he grabbed my waist and kissed me. After sometime we couldn't breath and we pulled away. He leaned his forehead on mine and was breathing heavily. He then started to kiss up and down my neck till he found the spot where I will be marked. He kissed and sucked on that spot.

"Please, Jax mark me." I whispered. He pulled back.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yes, I'm sure. I love you." I told him, honestly. I actually did love him. I have known him for years and have gotten to know him and well I fell for him. I was always worried when he would go into a fight and I thought sometimes he wouldn't make it but he would always come through and be there for me.

He looked at me and smiled. "I love you, too." He then kissed me again and moved down my neck again. Once he got to the spot, he first kissed that spot and he bit into my neck. At first it hurt a lot but soon it felt so good. After a couple of seconds, he let go of my neck and licked it cleaning off the blood. When he did that, my legs gave out from under me but Jax caught me. Right before I passed out I heard him say that I was his.
