Chapter 25

Dawn's POV:

"Ezra!" I ran towards him, but the shutters stopped me.

"Let her." He said

They got out of my way and I hugged Ezra tight.

"IF YOU EVER DARE TO RUN AWAY AGAIN, I SWEAR I'LL KILL YOU!" I yelled between tears.

He kissed my neck and released the hug.

"I told you I would come back. But I knew you would come to me."

I huffed.

"What are you guys doing her anyway?"

"Searching for a new contact... a new rebellion." Kanan explained.

"Let me guess. Searching for Moreena?" Ezra said.

"Yes?" Ahsoka said.

"That's me."

We looked at the person at Ezra's side.

"Sorry... The Empire was walking around so I had to leave early."

"Wait... you are the North Hill?" Ahsoka asked with wide eyes.

"Yes. The one and only." Ezra answered.

"Then we have a lot to talk!" Rex said.

"I know. Mind to come to the base?" Ezra asked.

"Not at all. Can we follow with the Ghost." Hera said.

"Sure. Follow the speeders." Ezra smiled.

I had been so long since I saw that smile! And even when he was with us I didn't saw that one. This one was real! He didn't fake it! And that made me happy.

Ezra was back.

We rushed towards the Ghost and prepared to take off.

Ezra's POV:

I was so happy when I saw the crew! But I remained quiet. But actually I wanted to scream and hug them one by one. But that's not what you should do as a commander... I gave new orders to the shutters and headed back home with shutter 3, Moreena and with shutter 2, Tyro. The most loyal people I could imagine. They help and support me when I need it. And they never leave my side, not even when I order them to. The Ghost was flying above us, while we rode to the base.

time skip

We entered the base. The Ghost landed and I unlocked my wheelchair from the speeder. I was still in it, but I'm not the same anymore. The crew walked out and came to me. Now, Kanan came to hug me.

"We missed you so hard, Ez." He whispered.

"Missed you too, master." We released each other and I gave a sign that they had to follow me.

We walked to the middle of the base where my captain was waiting.

"Who do we have here?" He said

"The Rebels, sir."

"Ow... yes. That's right. They had to meet up with shutter 3."

"Yes, sir. But they met up with squadron E."

"I see. Well it doesn't matter. Let's come tobusiness..."
