---------- Abby POV~~ It's been a year since Kay's case closed. They had a funeral with a photo, since they couldn't find hers. Kay should be about in 9th grade now.
We are all split up. Lance went to Pine high, I went to a school by Lakeside and my home, Steve left to North Carolina, and the rest went to Lincoln High.
Me and Lance still keep in touch though. I think Lilith and Steve talk too so it's all good. I wonder if they ever will truly put Kay at rest by finding the killer... or the body. Landon tells us that he can 'feel' that she's alive but that is impossible.

My phone lights up, I check to see that it's a text message from Lance.
"Hey! How's things over there?" He asks. "Good, you?" I respond. "Ehh, same old same old..." Lance texts back. "How's Landon... after everything happened he went a little crazy didn't he?"I ask. I honestly wanted to hear he was fine since I knew him for almost two years. "Well... he's Landon." Lance responds. I sigh before I receive a text again. "Hey! I got word that Kay's text messages were released. They bring back memories..." Lance says. My eyes light up. "LMAO show it!" I respond. "K" Lance says before sending photos of chats.

I laugh for a while as I remember that night she sent the bee movie script to everyone. Lance was so mad at us, it was so fun though. Memories flooded my mind. Me and Lance decided to meet up sometime this year actually.
---Kay's situation--- Kay's kidnappers had big plans for her. They even told her what she was going to do. First rob banks, then high jack school busses full of children and bring them to them, after that she was suppose to set off bombs at airports, lastly become a serial killer. Of corse Kay said that that was crazy and that she would never do that.
"Are you going to listen to me?" He asked "No" Kay answered. "You've been beaten for 14 days, I've cut you, I've told you that I even took out your eye! What is keeping you so determined?" The man asked. Kay simply smiled and looked up at him with her one eye
"Nothing, it's just the right mind that it's wrong" Kay responded. The man sighed. "You won't think that for long..." he responds with a smile, he had a plan.
