First of all, shout out to auubrrieee , EcoiiYTCyrus , The_Lonely_Tsundere , and 707thBlandPerson for being my friends in real life and online :)
After the weekend had passed over, it was time to go back to hell. I got up hazily to find my little sister ready to go. "Mom says your driving me today." Elly says. I groan and check the time '6:00AM' i turn back to Elly in disbelief. "Who's up right now?" I ask still in shock. "Only me and you" Elly says with ease a closed eyes smile plastered on her face. "Why did you wake me up so early?" I say now angered. "Because you always take forever to get ready, plus so you can make me breakfast." I take a deep breath, She's so lucky she's MY sister and not any of my friends.
After everything it was still 6:45AM so all I could do was watch TV. I stare at the screen and look over to Elly who is entranced on her phone. I slowly grab the remote and turn it to MTV. "HEYYY" Elly wines "I was watching that!"
--Kay POV--
I had just finished getting ready when I received a text from a group chat.
Lance: anyone at school yet?
Kay: Nah nut yet.
Abby: ITS ONLY 6:45!!!
Lance: so?
Abby: YOUR CRAZYI shake my head in amusement , then I put my phone in and start to head out the door so I could start on my way to school.
--30 minutes later--
--Abby POV--I tap my foot impatiently waiting for those metal gates of hell to open. "BAH" someone yells behind me grabbing my shoulders. I gasp in fright suddenly because of this. I turn around and see Lance smiling brightly at me. Lance's blue eyes never left my brown ones "I got you!" Lance cheered clapping his hands together in victory. I sigh and roll my eyes. I place my hand over my heart dramatically "you almost gave me a heart attack!" I tell him.
Lance just laughs. That jerk!
Right as I was about to speak, the gate opened "FINALLY" Lance says. Me and Lance then head to our bench where the group and I sit.
Once we sat down my fake red-headed brother, Karl, walked up. After him Lilith, then Steve and Bob, Landon was the last one to walk up.
I brushed my brown hair behind my ear and adjust my glasses. I then realize that Kay was not here today. "Ay, Lilith did Kay say she was sick today?" I ask the auburn haired girl. "Nope, did she text you?" Lilith asked raising an eyebrow "no..." I say with a little pause. "Maybe she's just late-" I was cut off by the loud school bell, signaling for everyone to go to class. "Whatever we'll find her at lunch, if not then we can just text her." While I talked I also picked up my backpack "Bye" Lance said giving a me a hug before leaving to class
--Lunch--
I finally was dismissed after the first lunch people were told to go to class. I knew Lance had 5th period with Kay so I checked in on him first.
I walk up to Lance, "see Kay yet?" I ask "nope, I'm going to ask Amy. She has 2nd period with her. Plus she sits next to Kay and me so it's fine." Lance says "okay, well maybe we can call her after school if she's not. Maybe she was just sleeping or she dropped her phone in the toilet again." I say shrugging at the last part. Lance chuckled "hey I got to go before Mr Leeturno realizes I'm not in the bathroom" Lance said. I look at him and sigh "fine, have fun in English" I said mockingly since I have lunch. Lance sighed, gave me a hug, the n left to English.
--6th Period Bob POV--
'Aww Kay it's here today, I wanted to bug her about her little crush...' I thought as I looked over at him then over at Mrs Dooty who was explaining math stuff to the people who cared, I have a F anyways why care now? I look over at Donald who was whispering stuff to Rich from across the aisle. Rich laughed and so did the class. I didn't hear what he said so I don't get the joke. Isaiah is talking about taxes to Landon, that blonde haired freak who bothers Kay 24/7. Luckily he is her childhood friend so I haven't killed him yet. And the class goes on and on.
--after school--
--Abby POV--I finally call Kay. It rings a few times so
I know her phone is on. It picks up."Hey! Kay where were you today? You didn't say anything to anyone." I say.Breathing. "Sorry Kay's not here right now." A deep male voice echoes through the phone speaker. My eyes widen before I narrow my eyes at the phone, my eyebrows stitch together. "Who, who is this?" I ask. "No one that you know, just know you might not hear from Kay for a while." The voice says before I hear the phone drop on the other line. Then the other line hung up
