Why is it so hard
to say "I love you"
To the poeple who matter
To the people who I actually love
Is it just human nature?
Are humans all naturally insincere
so it's easier to falsely say I love you than truely say it
Or is it society
The bane of all right and good things
That encourages youth to say I love this, I love that, I love you to a friend
So easily, making the word inadequate to say to special people
Or is it the family
Where parents don't say it enough
So it becomes awkward
So the kids just don't say it
at all
