Sonya's Story (Completed)

Chapter 7 - Distant Family

I am happy to announce the seventh chapter! again thanks for reading my first book. I hope for you readers it is starting to become a bit more exciting. I've decided to make this chapter 6 months after Sonya's change as soon they will come into play with the story. Hope you are enjoying the story so far

"It's been six months! And you're saying you haven't found her!" The woman, mother of Sonya cries into her husband's chest. "Sorry officers we know you are trying your best", the husband replies. (to catch you up Sonya's mother is Claire and her husband is Daniel, Sonya has been missing for six months now. Sonya also has a younger sister named Kayla). "Have you found Sonya?". Kayla opened the front door as she hears the commotion with the police. "No, not yet dear" Claire says softly with symphony. "Oh", you can hear the disappointment in the little girl's voice.

I was worried for my eldest daughter Sonya. I couldn't handle it I knew something has happened ever since she didn't come home that one time after school. It is what you can call a mother's gut instinct.

We all went back inside with a policeman to sort out some information to help us. "On the news today, there is a new and dangerous species discovered from Heart Woods Forest where a hunter has seen a wolf with what it looks like are wings?" Everyone's attention is at the screen Kayla switched on seeing the picture of a brown wolf with big butterfly like wings. It also has blood around the mouth like it has just eaten something. "Here is the video" The wolf growls and snarls as it's eyes turn ghoul and the big butterfly wing like kagune appears from the back. "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!" you hear in the back of the video. It then attacks at the camera and that's when it shuts off. Everyone in the Brea family house keep on looking at the screen as they go on about the creature. "Here with me now is the brave man behind the camera that went face to face with this incredible beast." "The beast was big like twice the normal size of a wolf! It has razor sharp teeth and threatened me as it bared them in my face. Also before I started taping I saw... it eating a human. It tried to get me but I used my gun to whack the beast it only irritated it's eye as I smacked it in the head." They show a picture of his gun and it was bent a full 90 degrees if not more looking all bashed up. "Well there you have it viewers first from seven news." then another news presenter goes to speak but Claire switches off the TV as she grabs the remote from Kayla. "That's just rubbish a wolf twice the size eating humans". "I agree with you ma'am" The officer has the same opinion.

The next day another report was sent out this time it was a black and dark silver wolf. "I'm scared mum.." Kayla says as she hugs Claire. "It's going to be alright" suddenly Claire gets a mother feeling and squints as she thinks what is this isn't a load of trash... She heads over to the front door as she has a feeling someone is there and opens it up seeing someone standing at the front. 

Cliff hanger! I know I hate them but at the same time they make the story a bit more interesting. If you want to find out what happens you have to read the next few chapters.
