Sonya's Story (Completed)

Chapter 15 - The road trip isn't over

We went home after our last lesson which me and Silver had the same lessons but one. When I got home I felt a lot safer until I hear a knock at the door. I open the door to see police. "Your mother said you were back" one of the officers say. I let them in and Seth looks at them. "Mum! The police are here". I hear mum come down. "Oh hello officers, what's the matter?" the head officer steps forwards. "We have had information given to us saying that Sonya and a mysterious boy are not human". My mother's eyes have never been so shocked ever. "What are you talking about! She's my daughter!" the officer stays patient with her. "Someone had taken evidence photographs of both Seth and Sonya". He shows mother I then look over the phone and notice it was just as we were changing to human when we were nearly home. "That's photoshopped you do know". The officer looked at me. "Are you sure?" "Positive" I replied confidently. "The only thing is that we saw the raw photograph as well and it looked the exact same". I wanted to know who told them and rip their heads off at this moment. I just started school and yet I came to an end once again because of my "New Kind" great. As the police talk to my mother and turn to me Seth immediately stands between me and the police going with instinct to protect his family. "Are you going to admit to this?" My mother's face had gone from shock to sad knowing that all the evidence is against us. "And if we are not human? Does it really matter" Seth speaks up. "If you are what this photo presents then yes, ghouls are starting to become too common especially the last few days before Sonya returned. And not to mention they do eat people". He pins his ears as he grew in frustration showing his human and wolf form. I hold his hand to calm him down "Not all of us are monsters... I may have killed people before but Sonya hasn't she's gentle and caring if you are going to catch us at least leave Sonya alone". The police look at Seth and I as they could tell I was trying to calm him down. "Sorry but we can't let even one ghoul go even if they are nice". The second officer says. I then feel like we are being watched.

Seth can sense something else looking at us and a gun goes off. I see the shine and duck tucking my belly protecting the unborn baby. Seth gets shot in the shoulder. He snarls and changes into his full silver wolf form. I then change into my pura white wolf. He looks at me and I look at Silver before we both take off as another shot was fired but missed us.

We race off into the closest woods. The woods were more shallow then the forest but it was better then nowhere to go. Silver finds a nice den cave that we both share.
