John's P.O.V (on Sunday)
"What about this?" Herc has been questioning me about what I want to wear tonight all afternoon. I, on the other hand, have been worrying about where we are going and what we are doing.
"No... maybe its too formal? I don't..." Hercules rambled on about the colours and whatever else was important in this situation, but I wasn't listening. All I could think about was Alex. He had gone over to see the sisters, I'm assuming to get ready. Lafayette was basically jumping on my bed and discussing the outfits with Herc. I pull my sketch book out of my desk draw and sketch out my pet turtle, Michelangelo. He was always my favourite Ninja Turtle...
(You can probably tell I didn't draw this as it says so XD. I just really liked this drawing.)
"YES! THAT IS UNE BELLE TENUE! JOHN LOOK AT THIS!" The french man's yelling startles me and I look up from my page. Hercules had laid out a brown plaid-like shirt in a green cardigan with some blue skinny jeans sticking out from the bottom. The 'look', as Herc and Laf called it, was topped with a brownish green scarf and a green beanie. It wasn't half bad... but then again I don't know anything about fashion and the other two look like some fangirls meeting their favourite singer or something.
"So? What do you think?" Hercules asks as he practically jumps beside me.
"Ill try it on..."
"SQUEEEEEEE!" God they really are a couple of fangirls. Once I've changed, I walk back out to show the boys.
"OMG I LOVE IT! So John? Do we have a winner?"
"Um... Yeah?"
"You sound unsure."
"No I like it I really do!"
"Good! Because we still have to do makeup!"
'WHAT?!?!?!?!"
"I'm joking! Your reaction was priceless!" Herc and Laf where both instantaneously on the floor laughing, but immediately stopped when there was a knock on the door. 6:34. Shit, that'll be Alex. Herc and Laf swiftly remove themselves from the floor and push me to the door. I open the door to see Peggy standing in the doorway.
"Sooooooooo... you ready for your date?" Peggy says, sliding past me and into the dorm room.
"Uh, I think so?"
"Good. make your way to the park bench just out the front of this dorm building." I follow Peggy's instructions and go find the bench. On the bench, I see a bouquet of chocolate roses and an adorable stuffed turtle. On top of the turtle was a note. It read:
My Dearest Laurens,
There's a lake that we both know in our nearby park. You and I shall go, but before the night gets dark, we will picnic by said lake and then nap together under the stars...
