Chapter 13 - Christmas

Sasuke and Naruto were now dating each other, Sasuke had invited Naruto at his house several times, where Uzumaki met the Uchiha family.

On the contrary, Naruto was reluctant to invite Sasuke at his place, embarrassed by his modest livinghood.

In December, after the final term exams, which Naruto and Sasuke passed brilliantly, the 2 teens had planned to spend Christmas together, like a real couple. But they were arguing on the place where they wanted to spend it: Sasuke wanted to do it at Naruto's place; Naruto wanted to go to a karaoke or something like, surely not in his small apartment.

Finally, Naruto had an idea: "Let's decide on a draw!" He proclaimed. He was already preparing the tickets.

Sasuke smirked. "Fine." He took one of the sticks.

Naruto opened his hand and his face decomposed: Sasuke had drawn the ticket for spending Christmas at Naruto's place.

"H-How?! You cheater!" He pouted.

"Hey! You wanted to draw it and it's what came out, so don't try sneaking out of it!"

"F-fine!" Naruto snapped. "...But what are we gonna eat and stuff? I'm not good at cooking you know!"

"We'll order something, or my mother can cook for us if you want?"

"Yeah..."

Naruto felt that Christmas would be exhausting...

Christmas Eve came upon the couple really fast. Naruto had tidied his room as best as he could to receive his guest.

Sasuke came a little early, bringing the food and drinks (his brother, Itachi, had even given him some beer).

"Here. My mother said to put everything in the fridge."

"Okay."

Naruto looked at the plastic bag full of cans.

"What's that?"

"My brother gave us beer." Sasuke said, smiling.

"Woah cool! Um is it okay though...?" He wondered guiltily.

"Of course, 1 or 2 beers won't kill us!" Sasuke assured. He was helping Naruto preparing the table.

A few hours later, after they had begun their meal, they opened their cans of beer.

Two cans were enough to make Naruto totally drunk.

"Say, Sasuke! Why do you like me?" He asked.

Sasuke looked surprised by the question; the beer hadn't had much effect on him. He thought of the answer.

"Um, I like your straightforwardness. Your stubbornness is cute too." He finally answered. "I love your big blue eyes and your soft lips. I..."

"Okay, okay! I got it! Shouldn't have asked..." Naruto muffled.

"What about you? What do like about me?" Sasuke asked in return.
