Jongin poked my forehead, with a big frown on his face.
"Tell me what's going on inside of your head, Chanyeol."
I kept my eyes closed and ignored him."Do you want me to call Soo?" he asked quietly, when he realised he wouldn't make me speak. I shook my head in reply and I heard him sigh.
"I'm calling Soo" I heard him mumble to himself before he walked into the kitchen. I didn't bother try listening to the conversation. My whole body felt numb under the huge blanket Jongdae gave me for Christmas last year.
Baekhyun hadn't texted me since I saw him in the park. That was four days ago.
I nearly whimpered of the thought of Baekhyun. It hurt. I didn't dare to contact him, no way. To hear the words directly from his mouth, instead of his mother's, would kill me. The nightmares of Baekhyun dumping me had haunted me the past days, resulting in almost no sleep at all. The bags under my eyes were getting bigger and darker. Jongin had tried to cheer me up that I now could pass as Tao's brother. Real funny.
I opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling. A spider was happily crawling around in its spider web in the corner. I sighed and dragged the blanket over my face.Jongin came into the room and sat himself beside my head.
"Soo is just around the corner. Do you need anything?" he asked awkwardly. Jongin was a good friend, perhaps too good. I didn't deserve his kindness.
I shook my head under the blanket.
"Okay, I'll leave you two alone to talk. I have to go to work anyway."
"You don't think I can stay at home alone?"
"You're staying home from work, without being sick. That's not like you Chanyeol, of course I don't want you to be alone." He sighed and patted my head.I shrugged him off and turned around in the little sofa, facing away from him. My legs too long and hanging out on the other side.
"Order some fast-food with Kyungsoo, okay? I'll allow it this time." He said and then he was out of the door.
I removed the blanket from my face and bit my lip hard. It had been difficult to breathe properly the past days. It was as a hand was gripping around my throat. I knew that I was a coward.
A coward for not calling him, texting him, asking him what the hell was going on.
But I just couldn't. It terrified me.
Kyungsoo didn't even knock, he walked straight inside and stopped when he stood beside me. He examined my face and then pushed me out of the sofa.
"You need to eat."
I shook my head, but stopped when Kyungsoo gave me a look. Kyungsoo grabbed my arm and led me to the kitchen. He forced me down on the small chair.
"You want to tell me of what's going on?" he asked while he searched the fridge for something edible.
Without my shopping and Jongin's horrible cooking, there wasn't a lot of ingredients left. Kyungsoo wrinkled his nose in disgust and slammed the door shut.
