"Stop with the tapping on the table, I swear to god I will cut your fingers off."

Sehun glared at me from the other side of the table while Yixing played on his phone. The dark-haired man had an adorable frown as he pouted from another lost match against Jongdae, who was sitting in the couch cheering of his victory.

"I can't help it! I'm so nervous I might die, Sehun! Die!"

Sehun rolled his eyes and got up from his chair. He walked past me to the door, smacking my head lightly on the way.

"I'm getting Junmyeon, you're just a mess." He mumbled and then he was gone. I sighed and rubbed my head, my body leaned over the table.

"Jongdae."

My so-called friend ignored my whine and continued to play, a concentrated look on his face while he beat my other so-called friend to death in the game. Yixing was tapping furiously on the screen by now and let out a little frustrated scream as his character died once more.

"Yes!" Jongdae exclaimed and jumped up on the couch, looking like a four-year-old there he danced in victory. Yixing sent him a death glare that sent shivers down my spine. I didn't even knew he could make a face like that. Scary.

"For god's sake Jongdae, get down from the couch! You're wearing a suit!" Junmyeon shouted like the angry mom he was. Sehun stood behind him with a bored expression.

"Can I eat some candy now? I deserve it, right?" He nagged at the male in front of him.

"No, you'll only get your own suit dirty. Come on guys, it's only fifteen minutes to the ceremony start. Please behave." Junmyeon pleaded. Yixing looked up from his phone and nodded slowly while Jongdae jumped off the couch. Junmyeon gave me a look and sighed when he saw my hair.

"Guys, could you please let me and Chanyeol have a minute? I need to talk to him, and fix his hair... again."

The three started to chat as they walked out of the room. Their laughter was heard as they disappeared down the hallway. I took a deep breath and tried to stop my hands from shaking, to no luck. It was like an earthquake had taken form in my hands, a never ending big earthquake. Junmyeon turned my chair so I was seated towards him. He took another look at my hair, sighed, and got the hairbrush.

"This is the second time I'm fixing your hair today, Chanyeol. Mind telling me what's going on inside your head?"

"It's finally happening. The day I've been waiting for is here. I'm so nervous I will fuck up everything." I mumbled as Junmyeon raised an eyebrow.

"What if I trip and ruin the cake with my stupid face? Kyungsoo spent hours on that cake and if I ruin it he will for sure kill me. Or worse, make me taste Yixing's soup again. Did you get to taste it? I swear to god, that's one of the most horrible things I have ever ta-"

"Chanyeol!" Junmyeon exclaimed and my mouth went shut.

"Breathe." He reminded me and I took a deep shake breath. Junmyeon tugged at my hair slightly to style it and I bit my lip, trying not to flinch.

"I get that you're nervous. But as you said, the day you two have been waiting for is finally here. You should be happy."

"I am happy." I piped out as he put down the hairbrush. "Just nervous." I admitted again and Junmyeon laughed softly.

"I know Chanyeol."

I looked up at him, feeling the doubt taking form in my body. The dinosaurs in my stomach were going crazy and I felt more and more stressed out. Nothing made sense, and I was probably overthinking everything. But what if I wasn't overreacting or overthinking? Maybe I am. Am I? A little whine escaped my lips in frustration.
