Overview
Mario Kart Wii was an installment of the popular Mario Kart series that came out back in 2008 (well in Europe anyway! xD) Nintendo used to sell the game with the steering wheel accessory: Wii Wheel. It was the first game in the series to introduce bikes. That excited people when it was newly released.

A lot of Wii Wheels were sold alongside Mario Kart Wii
The Nintendo WFC feature played a huge part. You were able to race online with other people across the globe. Sadly the servers were shut down in May 2014. I believe you there a new servers you can use but you'll have to hack your Wii in order to do so. I would love to know about these servers. I still have a Wii Console and a copy of Mario Kart Wii so I'm a little curious!
