I wanted to begin a life with you & live in such a world that outsiders became the flowers in our gardens of beauty
Pushed out the evil, allowed myself to fall in love then shot down my walls
Protected you as my lover & held you in my heart
Screamed at you for help through the tears that I shed & you couldn't hear
Asking why I'm here, & it's because I am contented when I'm with you
Stories play in my mind about you; mollifying, so I can sleep
But the words of my heart cannot seem to make us stay
So let me just leave it at "hey"
