Its morning the sun shines in the windows entering like an uninvited guest at a party. The sun is so bright that my vision is hazed and blurred for a little bit. The smell of the early autumn morning is intoxicating to me, I love the smell of the rain and the plants at this time of the year. The smell is drifting in through the crack in the window, I can't believe its a bit overcast the sun shining through the break in the clouds like a torch in the middle of the night.
I hear *CLICK* *CLACK* As if someone is wearing high heels or shoes with a wooden base walking towards my hospital room. I sit up with confidence, Finally realizing what is on my arm. Heavy plaster, *Sigh* Why did I have to try and do that. I hear a gentle knock on the door. I see the nurse standing there. I sit up in response to show respect, so I'm not lounging around like a slob although I am hurt. She smiles at me and whilst speaking with authority "It's time for you to go home."
I exit the hospital, Taking in a deep breath of autumn weather. It tickles the inside of my lungs with cold air biting at me. This feels nice I muse to my self. I begin to walk home and the sky starts to shed tears falling to the Earth as if that's where they belonged. Its not to far from here to my house. I look at my phone and realize its Sunday. The party was on Thursday night after I finished work, I dial in my works number. Waiting patiently for them to pick up, they finally answer the phone and respond with hostility in his voice "where the fuck have you been, If you don't get here now you're going to be fired." He hung up. *sigh* "what long day" I mutter under my breath.
I approach my work place and I notice its somewhat busy. I walk through the door and hear a number of my co-workers gasp when they see how beat up I am. I walk past them quietly and find my manager, I work at an internet café, Its quite nice and peaceful. I walk out the back and see how much of my work has piled up, "It seems that work repairing computers and technology don't stop for an injured man" I mutter harshly when I hear my manager walk in behind me. He showed no emotion, "start fixing them before I find someone else who will" He spat out without hesitation. I comprehend my situation finding a way so I could get out of it, I need money I think gloomily. I connect my phone to the works internet, Turn my music on and get to work.
After the café closed I heard some knocking on the door. "come in" I complain irritated. I hear a bunch of the girls from the café asking if I was alright. With out a word I lifted my broken arm, They got the memo that I was quite irritated and changed the topic. I sensed that 4 of them left leaving one, I assumed that the last one was Emilia. "Yes Emilia?" I ask with more care and consideration in my voice as she, doesn't like seeing or hearing people yell. Emilia reminds me of my sister before she died in a car accident with my mother and father. Small cute girl with blonde hair, She was so innocent just like Emilia. I push the thought from my head trying to forget that my parents and sister are dead. I hear her explain something shyly " W-w-we h-h-ave a n-n-ew per-s-son her-e w-with us today." she stutters and stammers. I turn around on my chair I'm shocked to see who the new employee is.
My heart Flutters in my chest, My cheeks go bright red just like her hair.
