Hans, most of us love him--
and if you don't ship Hanpunzel/Corona Isles or Helsa/TheMonsterShip then you obviously hate him.Yeah, Hans, I love him.. it's just he's got a sob story now and I feel like we pity him too much. We pity him so much that he is no longer a villain, he's another "hero" or "protagonist". He's no longer is lovably ruthless.
I don't know, Hans was like the sugary sweets to my diabetic. He's so evil and bad for you, but you eat him all up and love him anyway.People are mistreating the sob story we've given him. Sure, it gives us more reasons to ship Helsa but, don't make it so much that Hans is basically My Chemical Romance in a nutshell. If we're going to have a sob story as his theoretical 'background' we need to keep him as a killer, we need to keep him full of revenge and ruthlessness... But not make him a mass murderer.
He's not going to run around splattering blood on the ground and over his hands so that every time he tries to wash his gloves, they end up fading to pink or still contain red stains. It's not like Hans killed for no reason. He isn't a complete serial killer.
He just needed to kill so that people were out of his way. Sure, that's kind of a Hitler thing to do, but he doesn't do it out of utter hatred. He does it to heal himself, from that sob story we've given him. Now, he doesn't cry over it every day, he just admits it and tries to cover it up and progresses with his plans. This is very disorganized... but like I care.
But if we do classify Hans as a villain, then he gets a massive bad rap- Which I don't understand. How come Hans is the worst? Because he tried to kill two sisters?
Can we take a quick look at some other villains...
A lady who wanted to kill 101 dogs, an old pervert who nearly tossed a baby into a wELL and killed that baby's mother ON THE STEPS OF A HOLY, HOLY PLACE, then another guy who was willing to kill a group of kids just because he was humiliated by their leader, also another guy willing to take control over all of Arabia using genie magic along with being a pervert to the princess..
Hans doesn't look so highkey bad how does he? He only tried to kill two sisters and when you compare that to other villains' deeds who don't even have very good reasons, he doesn't seem all that horrible that you have to despise him.Hans is the best though.
That's the conclusion.
