Maya giggles at a sleeping Lucas. He lays in her lap and has been sleeping since the movie started. She told him to not pick it but he had insisted and nearly ten minutes in he was out.

Maya changes the movie. She scrolls through Netflix lazily, trying to find a new movie. She settles on an old kids movie. She carefully makes herself comfortable without waking Lucas.

Maya is drawing on Lucas' back. At first it's nothing. Just some random shapes or letters but then she falls into a pattern. She's writing I love you over and over again on his back. Since he's asleep she doesn't really think anything of it. She hasn't actually told him she loved him yet. She knows she does love him she's just afraid of his reaction.

Halfway through the movie Lucas finally wakes up. He turns over so he's looking up at her face and he smiles.

"Hey." He says groggily.

"Good morning. You've been asleep for awhile now." Maya giggles.

"I missed the movie?"

"You didn't even watch it. You fell asleep right when it started."

"Oh. Sorry."

"It's okay. I mean I've been having a great time watching movies myself."

"You mean watching kids movies?" Lucas laughs.

"I still have an inner child." Maya says. "You know, in kind of hungry. Let's call Riley and Farkle up to have dinner."

"Ya. That sounds good." Lucas replies sitting up.

Maya heads off to the bedroom to get ready while Lucas calls Farkle and the two agree to meet at Topanga's at 5. Lucas heads upstairs to find Maya in the bathroom.

"So?" She asks as she curls her hair.

"We're going to Topanga's at 5 so hurry up. You have 20 minutes."

"You couldn't have pushed the time?" Maya complains.

"Hey, I'm hungry." Lucas shrugs. Maya gives him a small smile and continues on her hair.

Of course they're running late. It's 5:10 and they haven't even left their apartment. Lucas waits patiently by the door. Maya flies down the stairs and takes her coat from Lucas.

"Thanks. Let's go." She says.

"Okay." Lucas says opening the door. He pauses right before stepping out. "Oh and Maya?" She looks up at him.

"I love you, too."
