First off, let's clarify some things.
One. When I lost my slipper in my mad dash from the palace, Hestia used her magic to sustain it and make it real. Percy found it in the gardens. He's kept it ever since.
Two. My step family were all furious that I had won the heart of the prince. Percy later told me that he had eyes for both of my sisters, but when I came to the ball, his wouldn't leave my face. So hahahahahhaha Reyna and Calypso, I got the prince. *Sassily sticks out tongue*
Third. While Hestia was my godmother, meaning she was chosen by my parents to be a guardian and mentor, she also happened to be Percy's grandmother, Paul's mother. She had been influencing Percy to stay away from other girls so he could meet me. That explains why Hestia only surfaced when I wanted to go to the ball. She wanted me to end up with Percy, so she intervened. How thoughtful!
Fourth. I moved into the castle. Bad news, Percy wanted my family to move in too. Good news, he didn't mean as royalty. Calypso and Reyna now grudgingly serve my family and I as maids. Hera works as part of the cleaning staff.
Fifth. Percy and I have been married for 20 years now. We have four children, Charles, Bobby, Zoe, and Bianca. Calypso was married recently to a blacksmith's son, Leo Valdez. Nice guy. She became much more tolerable after the wedding. Reyna, however, is still single to this day.
Sixth. Percy wanted me to write down this story for our posterity. He wants them to be able to learn about our struggles. Weird. But I can't argue with him, he's the king.
