Kymberleigh and Louis - The Park

"That one looks like an elephant riding a pigeon." Louis said as Kymberleigh giggled and shuffled closer to him.

Sitting in the park on a Saturday afternoon and watching clouds was a regular occurrence for the two. She was lying on the blanket under his arm, her head leaning on his chest.

"Look at that one... It’s like a love heart." He mumbled, looking down at his girlfriend with a grin as she leant up to press her lips to his. He watched as her dark eyes opened again and she smiled slightly at him as she stood up, brushing the grass off her shorts.

"Ice-cream?" She offered as Louis stood up, motioning for her to sit back down.

“I’ll get it.” He smiled, as Kymberleigh obeyed and he scurried off in search for the shop.

She lay back on the rug, stretching her arms out above her and taking in the beautiful weather. Kymberleigh thought back through their relationship. When she and Louis first started dating, there was a lot of hate from the fans and the paparazzi had been very involved. However, Louis' dedication had come out on top; he had protected her from the vicious photographers, the crazed fans and even the issues with the management for carrying on a relationship throughout the production of the second album. And now, here they were, dating for 2 years and never happier.

Louis arrived carrying 2 ice-creams, one loaded with various lollies and chocolates and the other relatively plain. Kymberleigh smiled as she leant for the heavenly looking ice-cream. At the last moment though, Louis pulled a face and pulled it closer to himself.

"How dare you touch my ice-cream!" he wailed dramatically as he sat down next to her, handing the plain one to her. A wicked glint formed in Kymberleigh's eyes as she reached forward, pushing out her bottom lip. "I'm sorry baby." she pouted and Louis smiled, leaning in for a kiss. At the last moment she squashed the cone into his temple laughing hysterically as she got up to sprint away.

After getting over the original shock of having an ice-cream mashed in his face, Louis sprinted towards her. She attempted to run away but the fact that her body was now convulsing with laughter stopped her from getting very far.

He caught up and squished his ice-cream on her forehead. "I'm a unicorn!" she giggled as the sticky cold cream dribbled down her face. He laughed, picking her up and spinning her around and around.

The world soon turned into a blur and Kymberleigh was really dizzy. Suddenly he slipped and both of them landed solidly on the ground.

"Babe, you alright?" Louis grinned as he realized that Kymberleigh was underneath him. She laughed in response and he stood up and pulled her to her feet.

She only reached just under his chin when he wrapped one arm around her waist so she was pressed against him. He brushed the brown sticky hair out of her eyes as continued tracing down her face until he was cupping one of her cheeks. A small smile played on his lips as he stared into her eyes.

"Your eyes sparkle in the sun, they change colour." he offered quietly as she wrapped her arms around his neck and leant in for a kiss. "You are all mine." Louis said softly as their lips brushed together. It was a perfect moment.

"I am so lucky." he said against her lips before she pushed them together again. The pair was interrupted by a young girl of about 10.

“Ello gorgeous. What can we do for you?” Louis smiled, bending down to look her in the eye, still holding Kymberleigh’s hand.

“Would you mind if I got a photo?” She whispered quietly as her eyes widened and she held out a camera.

“Of course.” Louis grinned as he handed the camera to Kymberleigh. “Do you mind babe?” He asked.

“Not at all.” Kymberleigh grinned as she took the camera and set up the shot. Louis placed an arm around the young girl.

“What’s your name cutie?” Kymberleigh asked as she snapped the picture of the grinning duo.

“Lola.” She said quickly and reached for the camera, Kymberleigh leaned down to hand it to her. Lola quickly threw her arms around Kymberleigh as Louis looked on with amusement.

“You are really pretty.” Lola whispered before sprinting off into the park. Kymberleigh was still surprised at what had happened when Louis pulled her into his arms.

“You are really pretty.” He said kissing her quickly. Pulling her palm into his and holding the blanket in the other hand, they quietly walked out of the park.
