About a week later our worst fears came true. One of the most viewed magazine in Paris has Jonathan and I in the front cover. Yes the front cover. It has the picture and at the bottom it says "Has the hottest model of our time turn out to be someone we didn't expect?! Is Jasmine Maxwell responsible for her husband death?" The article is not anymore comforting.

Jonathan Cole, international male model and Jasmine MaxWell, fashion designer together?
Jonathan and Jasmine were seen in a Paris cafe shop very friendly with each other. Who knows, are they together? For what we all know Jonathan has been dating supermodel Christine Mendez for about two years now. Has he forgotten this fact? Jonathan was seen with Jasmine in what seemed like a romantical date. But as we all know Jasmine is now a widow do to the death of her husband Matt Maxwell. Rest in peace Matt. Has she moved on that quickly? Is she after our hot model Jonathan? All these questions need answering. She didn't seem devastated in this picture, what do you think of her now? This says a lot about this fashion designer. Maybe we have a lot of misconceptions about them both. Maybe they are both having a secret affair?

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!" I yelled out as I read this bogus article and threw it on the couch were Jonathan was sitting.

"What happened are you okay?" Jonathan said startled.

"Read this Jonathan, read it!" I told him and he picked up the magazine.

He was quiet as he read and then he looked blank. He didn't say anything for a while, then said "This is ridiculous Jasmine, it really is. Just calm down we can call the magazine and get this straighten out. It'll be okay".
"Jonathan they made me sound like a dirty, low life, slut they made a mockery of what I'm going through. They seriously think I would just forget my dead husband" I said as I sat down and crossed my arms. My eyes got teary but I held back.

"Jasmine, you are not a low, life slut, and I know you are still hurting and haven't forgotten about Matt" he said and gave me a hug.

"What if Christine sees it. She'll think the worst of you and me, she'll hate me without even ever meeting me and she will be very angry with you" I said in frustration.

"I'll explain it to her. I'll tell her the truth Jass don't worry" he told me and turned back to watching the television.

My crew gave me a two week vacation to get myself together and try to relieve stress. They called me that same morning, they saw the article. I had to tell them the whole story, they would believe me at least.

That night Jonathan got a call from Christine. She had seen the article. All I heard from upstairs was his side of the conversation.

"Christine please don't yell, can you at least listen to me please" he said.

"Yes Christy. I'm just helping her. Her husband died and she is really devastated" he went on.

"She's just a friend nothing else. You know I love you and we've been together for so long. Why would I ever leave you?"

"The picture was taken out of context"

"Do you believe me?"

"Thank you, I love you"

"Okay, bye"

He hanged up and then I heard footsteps getting closer so I jumped into the bed, away from the door and pretended to read a book. I heard a knock and said "Come in"

"Are you hungry?" Jonathan asked.

"Not really. Why?" I replied.

"Nothing just asking" he said with a weird fake smile.

He stood there at the door looking at me like a child. Like if he didn't want to leave he was just standing there smiling oddly.

"Can I come in?" he asked.

"Sure..." I said looking at him confused.

"Okay thanks" he said and jumped in the bed right beside me.

"What are you reading?" he asked.

"Uh" I quickly turned to the tittle cause I had no idea what I picked up "Back when you were easier to love" I said.

"Is that one of your books?" he asked.

"Yea I had it in my bag" I said "Speaking of my stuff. I should probably head home soon. It's not dangerous anymore and I need to do a lot of cleaning. Plus I think is for the best because of all this mess with the magazine, it's not a good idea for people to see us together" I said putting down the book.

"Yea...Uh, you're probably right I'll take you tomorrow in the morning after I call the magazine to give our side of the story" he said. He seemed a lot more serious now.

"Thanks" I said and I smiled down at the bed.

"Yea... no problem" he said. We were both quiet and then he said "It's gonna be really boring without you here"

"Don't worry, when Christine gets here you'll get back to your normal life" I said and smiled at him "Speaking of her, has she called?"

"Yea she's okay, I told her we were just friends and she understood" he said.

"I'm glad, when is she coming back?" I asked.

"She said in like six weeks or so" he answered.

"That's great" I said and gave him another smile. I do mean it though, I was happy she understood and didn't break up with him.
