Ezra's P.O.V

I sat in the co-pilots seat and watched the stars fly by at the speed of light. I have a sister that I never knew about. Then who was Dakota's mom, cause I already knew who the dad was. I heard the door slide open but I didn't turn around to see who it was.

"Kanan, I just wanted to be alone right now," I said, not expecting Hera to sit in the pilot's seat. "Hun, if Kanan sat in my seat, he's a dead man," Hera said and I smiled. Then I went back to my blank faced look, gazing out the Ghost. "So," Hera started, "You have a sister." "Yeah," I said, "As you can see I'm taking it very nicely." I turned in my seat and hid more into the chair.

"So it seems on the outside," Hera said, "but I don't think this a physical pain but more of mental." "Hera, you're a pilot, not a therapist," I said and I heard her laugh. "What if I'm both," she said and I turned to face her, "What if I'm just a mom that wants to help her son?" She said cupping the side of my face in her hand. I leaned into the warmth of the touch and relaxed.

"I'm sorry if I said anything," I said, "It's just hard take all this in." "I know," she said, "This will be something to get used to but you have us to help you get through everything." I smiled and uncrossed my arms. I stood up and hugged Hera. "I love you," she cooed in my ear. "I love you too," I replied and released my hold smiling feeling lighter.

"Go on," Hera said, "Maybe you can go and talk with Dakota to catch up." I nodded and left towards the med-bay. I knocked on the door and heard a 'come in' from the other side. The door slid open and I saw Kanan sitting in a chair next to the bed which had Dakota sitting up and awake on. Yet, what really surprised me was Ahsoka sitting in a chair on the other side on the bed.

"Hello Ezra," Ahsoka greeted with a kind smile. "What's going on?" I asked taking a seat next to Kanan. "We need to talk," Kanan said, "To both of you." I looked over at Dakota and our eyes met, we both were confused and worried. I turned my gaze to Ahsoka and Kanan, "So what do you want to talk about?"

"What is there to talk about?" Dakota corrected. "Well Ezra," Ahsoka said, "I heard that you wanted to meet Dakota's mother." This got my attention and I turned to face Ahsoka. "Do you know who?" I asked her then turned to Dakota, "Do you?" "Hey genius," Dakota teased, "Why don't you ask her herself?" She pointed a thumb over to Ahsoka and I faced her.

"You're Dakota's mom?!" I said shocked. Ahsoka smiled, "Yes, I am." "Why though?" I asked, "I mean, Dakota I'm not trying to say  your a mistake really I'm not. I just want to know why my father chose you Ahsoka after my mom." "Your mother abused your father," Ahsoka said, "He left her then found me and that's when your mother joined the Empire and became a Sith, for revenge."

"But she got her revenge," I said, "Why did she continue to be a Sith?" "Sometimes," Dakota started, "Even after we get revenge, there is still pain or an emptiness that makes them dark." She looked at her hands sadly. I never seen her sad before and it didn't seem right. Why was she sad? It's not like she did any of this.

Ahsoka laid a hand on her shoulder to comfort her. "None of this is your fault," Dakota nodded then sniffed a bit. Ahsoka stood up and sat on the bed then gave Dakota a hug. "What's wrong?" I asked worried. "Ezra," Kanan spoke up, "Your mom also told me something else besides Dakota being your sister."

"What? What is it?" I asked. "She said that Dakota was a mistake because she reminded herself that her husband cheated on her," Kanan said. I looked over at Dakota with sadness as she buried her face into Ahsoka's shoulder. I stood up and sat on the other side of Dakota. "Can I?" I asked spreading my arms out to notify that I wanted to give her a hug.

Ahsoka nodded and let Dakota move over into my arms. I could hear her muffled crying and my shirt getting wet, I didn't care. "I'm sorry," I said feeling like it was my fault. Dakota calmed down enough to talk, "It wasn't your fault." "I'm not just talking about my mom's actions, I'm also talking about the other time when you found me in the closet."

"It's ok," Dakota said, "That was a long time ago and I was taught to never hold a grudge." I smiled up at Ahsoka as I knew it was her. Ahsoka smiled and rubbed Dakota's back. "Besides," she said moving out of the hug, "How can I stay mad at you Toydarian?" "Toydarian?" I asked confused. "Yeah, cause you have a big nose," Dakota said and Kanan and Ahsoka were holding back you laughs.

"Hey," I complained then relaxed and smiled, "It's good to have you back." "It's good to be back," she said, "For a minute there, I thought you missed me." "Who me?" I said 'surprised,' "Never, you must have gotten the wrong Ezra."
We all had a good laugh and things were starting to go back to normal.

*one hour later*

"Lights out!" Hera said through the inter comm. Ahsoka and Dakota left a half an hour ago to go home. I left towards me and Zeb's room after some training with Kanan. I yawned and rubbed my eyes as the door opens to reveal a sleeping lasat. It was a long day and I couldn't wait to get some shut eye. I walked quietly to my bed and laid down. I was almost asleep when I heard a snake like voice say,"....Dustin....."
